The reason why you're so afraid of rejection is because it's evolutional programmed inside our emotional circuitry. Back in the tribal days, if we approach a taken woman who is the tribal leader's or tribal leader's friend. Upon request the tribal leader will ask the tribal friends to take you and bash a brick against your head and fucking kill you. This is one reason why men are so afraid of approaching and getting rejected.
ANother reason is within our emotional circuitry-it's our instinctual nature to be afraid of getting shot down. It could be relevant from our past experiences or our genetics. Although, like again back in the tribal days if we approach the woman which then rejects us. We have the fear of not possilby mating with her friends because back then the tribal group was so small that gossip usually occured. So you get rejected by this tribal girl and then after you leave she'll gossip to her friends of how retarded you were. This will cause our genes to be wiped out of existance. This is why it's a fear also.
My best advce to you or anyone having Social Shyness or lack of confidence. First build up confidence! How--by being compentant. By being competant it will then build up your confidence. See what I mean?
No PUA isn't supost to be your obsession but a hobby or a lifestyle as you will. PUA is suppost to empower or better your personality to be more attractive thus communicate effectively with the opposite sex. PUA can in fact help you in any other areas of life such as work, family, friends, or anyone that's part of a social group.
How to build competence? Do the things you're most afraid of. List 5 most dreadful-terrifying fears that you have, for example approaching, communicating, getting rejected, or whatever.
Go out in public and while you're walking-make eye contact with a stranger (could be anyone) and say Hi, how are you doing? In a confidence voice and strong voice. Don't sound weak and a pussy-just get used to sounding confident. Once you've practiced this over and over again, then you'll soon become more natural at being confident and thus approaching people you don't know very well.
I broke down every step for me to improve the way I am now. I have a choice now whether or not to game or not. It's called microcalibration-it's Manador's Method.
I would suggest you to read other topics on this forum which may help you greatly. You're fear is paralyzing you from what you wanna achieve man! Give her a break and come back when you're more confident.
You're working on a shitty Inner Game. You must build up that Inner Game as well Inner Frame to become more confident and dominate. Inner game is the whole thing behind gaming-if you have a weak inner game then you'll suck in the field. I've got a better inner game than before and the reason why is because I've practiced; I made missions for myself. I said, "Okay, today I'm gonna achieve opening sets and carrying a conversation if applicable." and "Okay, I'm gonna make good eye contact and speak in a confident and bold voice; so people will know that I'm there."
You can set many missions for yourself and remember baby-steps! You can rush yourself into being the best mPUA or whatever you wanna do.
Also, a special note-realize why you wanna be in PUA. Is it becaue you wanna just get fucked, or is it a long term relationship, or is it getting married witha hottest girl, maybe it could be to improve your inner self. Once you've noted that then you could work more deeper.
Take your time and patience is a great VIRTUE! ALong with patience will eventually come your results.
