Right off the bat I am going to apologize to any religious people this may offend but has anyone ever tried picking up women in churches.

I got thinking about this after an episode of Its always sunny in Philadelphia where they go to an anti-abortion rally to pick up women. So I thought where would a woman's defenses be most down, well it will be during the day (preferably early morning) and somewhere where not only is pickup not done it is also almost taboo.

Alas, I end up with church, so this weekend church game begins, also I should point out our town does American exchange programs so we have a good supply of hot christian women.

Think about it! If 9/10 Joe Schmo AFC's think of church as a 'family event' then that means it's pretty much untapped resources.

Like the Doc says, toning done the sexual side is for the best, but they're free game once outside! Try for one of Mystery's 'instant dates' and go for a bite to eat afterwards! Who knows, maybe she goes to church each week to make up for all the naughty things she does throughout the week!

I honestly don't feel bad for talking about church this way, but I do appologize as well if I've offended anyone!

Also, taking notes. Keep it up guys. I'd love to figure out how to initiate romance with girls who I already know go to church. Getting involved with a pretty woman might be fun and I have no problem with dating around, but if she doesn't share my faith, that kills the LTR potential. If I could draw out the romantic side of women at church, that make at least one aspect of my search easier.

I have been looking at some of Gamblers things on non-verbal communication and I think that is the best route to go (keeping things fun but using gestures to communicate).

Second, I live in Chicago and I know for a fact that Holy Name Cathedral actually has a Young Adult Ministry that offers masses and events for young adult singles.

You're absolutely right about that. There's a strong movement, especially among the evangelical Christian churches to refrain not just from sex, but from dating altogether. They encourage young Christian adults to meet at volunteer events and other church functions, get to know each other through shared service work, and then initiate courtship in the "traditional" way (the man ask's the woman's father for permission to woo his daughter.) No, I am not making this stuff up.

When I was in college, I was a chaperon for a multi-church lock-in. I thought that one of the chaperons from the other church was cute, so at the end of the weekend, I asked her if she'd like to go out for coffee sometime. She sneered at me and said, "Excuse me? I don't DATE." Pretty humiliating at the time. Since then, I've read the books by Josh Harris, who's one of the big advocates of Christian courtship, so at least I understand what's going on.

I will say that there are a lot of Jesus Freaks who run around Ukraine. They almost all end up with young brides before they leave. They seem to think the country is one big church/pickup joint. So I suppose Jesus and pickup go hand in hand.

Never feel bad about picking up women in church. If you don't do it someone else will. Honestly. I spent many years in church, trying to be a moralistic man, "waiting on God for my wife". It never happened. In my big mega church there were a handful of gigalo's who basically got all the women. The hundreds of us men who were trying to be "godly" men went home and spanked our monkey's. This is one of the real reasons that I left the church and realized it was a sham. I became a pick up artist, and then went back to the churches and picked up on women, and got laid. Don't feel bad about it. There are millions of bored church girls waiting for a seducer to seduce her into wild sex. Trust me. I've been there and know what goes on in churches. And if you are religious, don't worry about it. I was in Bible college and seduced women and it didn't seem to affect my mythical relationship with God. I've since became an atheist, but even when I believed the Bible, I didn't feel bad about sleeping with women. Trust me, you will not feel guilty rather you will feel released and free to live a free life. Fornication and adultery is going on all around you, you just don't see it cause it's done in secret. Trust me religious men, they are feeding you something that isn't true. Women in the church use religion as a ruse to make themselves feel better for their sexual inconsistencies. I have seen it over and over again. Even abortion clinics see a peak in their abortions when a revival comes to town.
