So college started, it's week 4 and I'm having a good time so far; however, this one little incident has put a dent in my confidence. It's just a stumble but I need some input. Sorry If I rant a bit, I just need to put my thoughts out.

Skip to the end for the actual situation

Pre college I was chillin enjoying my time being lazy and getting at some girls on Pof and what not. Came to college all ready to game and ready to contribute to this world by getting educated. So I moved out 4 weeks ago, first time living outside of my parents home. Get settled into my apartment, meet the roomates. Everything is cool. Networking, meeting people, getting adjusted to my new schedule. I do have to say one thing tho. The biggest shock in this whole situation was the culture. I've been living in the "real world" (non-college life) for over 3 years and I can tell you people aren't as friendly as they are in college. There is one thing tho, they made us attend several orientations and one of them was regarding sexual harassment. It was a lot of blue pill stuff and I just couldn't help but wonder while I looked around the room how some of those nice guys were ever going to get laid. The cherry on the top was one of the girls in the audience was visibly not wearing a bra under her shirt, ironically the presentation was about how even if a girl is dressed a certain way it doesn't mean she wants to be talked too blah blah blah. I also notice people are a lot more apologetic and I can't help but be sucked into that culture. I find myself apologizing unnecessarily sometimes. Anyway on to my point for this thread.

End
Edit: If you don't want to read the chat log just know I started well and then after a few shit tests I kinda got nervous, I think I screwed up, I just don't know how badly. For shits and giggles is there a way of making a comeback? How could I possibly get these girls to hangout?

So it's week 4 and I've been meeting a lot of people among them girls. Gotten a few numbers and could definitely get some more by the end of the week. I was having a blast until I decided to open these two girls after class a couple days ago.

So I start asking a simple class related question, admittedly they are the hottest pair(AsianHB8, non-asianHb8 I have talked to at school, nevertheless I go on. 8) Our convo goes something like this:

Me: So what's going on here?

Asian 8: Oh its the assignment X the professor is passing back.

Me: I see, How well did you guys do?

Asian 8: I got a B

Non 8: I got an A

Me: Wow that's great, sounds like you guys are nerds lol. I got a B-. What score did you get exactly?( looking at asian 8)

Asian8: uhhh (Looks away kind of awkwardly)(It seemed like she was giving me a shit test, cuz then she looked at her friend)

Me: too personal a question? lol (at this point I'm kinda feeling awkward myself)

non8: 95

Eventually we talk a little about the homework. Admittedly I think I was a little visibly nervous. After a few minutes I just say ok cya guys and walk away like a G.

I'm walking out of the building and I hold the door open for the people behind me, I see it's them. Then I ask, so are you guys freshman?

ME: Are you guys freshman?

Asian 8: wow! Where did that come from?

Me: (shrugs) You guys look really young.

Asian 8: No were not freshman...

Me: So are you guys hella old then?

Asian 8: Hey! wow! what is this? That's like two insults under a minute.

Me: (that threw me off and I get really nervous but I keep plowing) Ha! Insults? How old are you guys?

Asian 8: I'm 23... she's 21 I think.

Me: cool. (awkward silence)

non 8: Are you a freshman?

ME: Nope, junior

Asian 8: laughing and looking at her friend(girl code status) Ok, just making sure... just checking.

I then just walk away without saying bye

What the f just happened here?

you went to much into the personal detail of how much they got in the test, the inital answer of "a& B" was totally fine, asking for detail about there exact score on a test is kinda "loose" looking and displaying "little miss perfect behavior".never go into detail about homework, everyone hates it!
Also before asking if they were freshman, you displayed some nevorousness.girls pick up on this whether audable or physical (twitching) be more confident when talking to girls.

also meeting the girls again,if they look at you while walking past them, just smile and nod,if they dont recognize,TS.also saying they are old isnt a neg,its just insulting bro :/

#1 a lot of girls do not like being called "nerds". You may think "I love nerdy girls!" Not how they took it.

#2 You then ask if they're freshmen. Because they look "really young". To them it sounds like "You look under developed, not like a sexy adult woman". Understand, women often have eggshells for egos, and just about anything can snap it.

I get the sense that neither of these girls are good with banter or flirting. You'll need to be "nicer" to them, rather than tease them.

The nerds comment was alright IMO considering as you had said they were quite hot. However the prodding about the test scores and their age was a little awkward. Just open more girls, preferably also open girls out in the world and not just in that environment. Could have moved on from the test scores to talking about whatever shit you or they were up to over the weekend.

Absolutely right, I've noticed on a few occasions this to be true. I've opened a few girls and it seems like the ones that go with a natural look(in reference to make-up) can actually banter and have more solid ego's and self-esteems, a lot better than the girls who try to look extra hot by doing their hair and nails and so on. These girls were the latter, actually just the asian. Her friend seemed to look more natural. I got the sense that if the asian wasn't there I could have kept the conversation with the other one. She kept reinitiating the conversation, then the asian would frame it as sort of a shit test and the other would follow her lead. I think she was down for a regular conversation tho.
