When I make her feel wanted she pushes me away

When I'm casual with her she seeks my approval but when I make her feel wanted it's the opposite.
Eg. I say: I enjoy spending time with you, she says I like being wanted but her behaviour afterwards doesn't show that.
How do I deal with this girl?

Personally, in my experience, actions speak louder than words, at least to me. Maybe she's testing your self-confidence/ security of self? Make her earn everything is my advice. Stick with casual and make her really invest to earn you?

Is this new to you? Haven't you done your homework boy? Go back to school and learn about cat string theory, push & pull and whatnot. The girl wants to chase you! So you have to let her.
