The pua's in this forum have nice ideas and most stuff works, but to improve the skills of begginers like me we need some PUG (Pick Up Gurus)

where are them or who are them, if they exist i this forum :?:

Definately a beginner, im all about the theorethics at this point, all previous success, even though sprinkled with "game", i credit to luck and chance due to inability to control the interaction specifically.

I'd say I'm about 2 or 3 at the moment as I'm being harsh on myself.
I know the basics and I'm getting more fluent in using them.

IMO no one can really call themself a Guru. That title must be given by earning it. You must have a solid reputation and be able to express new and creative ideas regularly.

Anyone can regurgitate info taught by the many gurus out there. That doesnt make you anything but a plagerist.

Most people can become PUA. In order to become a Guru you must break the mold of what everyone else is doing.

I agree with DrunkOnCapeCod.
It takes alot to be a PUG.
Their are only a select few world-wide.

I resent the comment you made at the beginning, though.
You honestly don't think you can learn anything from people,
unless their a PUG?

If I wasn't so nice, I'd call you an idiot.
(it kinda sounds like I just did  )

When you're starting close to the bottom, you can learn from anybody.
You can learn to be a PUA by learning from PUA's.
If you're taught their skills, you can eventually be equivalent.
Ever heard of the student becoming better than their teacher?
Exactly.

You need to learn and think like a PUA.
Do you honestly think that a PUG would answer your questions differently?
I don't think a PUG's answers would be much different than a PUA's.
The difference is that PUG's come up with new, unique methods...
and they'd try to sell that method to you in a book.
We're damn good help, and we're free.

If you're looking for the heavy-hitters,
I'd go to mASF.
That's where I look for new stuff.

Just for the record, I'd probably have the poll like this:

AFC 0-2
rAFC 2-4
Pretty decent 5-7
PUA 8-9
PUG 10

But with some other term better than "pretty decent".
That's a little more real-world.

Hi Inacid,

I think I'm an above average PUA, but definitely not a mPUA. And I can smoke an AFC anyday.

Respectfully,

M

I guess you're a guru once others really look up to you and you make some money training others.

With enough practice, we'll all be gurus one day! Seduction Ninjas! Let's do this!

Im about 4-5 just reached!. But i still have sticking points and i havn't really started opening big sets like 6-8. I sarge alot more now than i ever did in my entire life!

Being a PUA or PUG i think will take alot more time in the field. Ive just started sarging two sets and singles, and when i do night game i open 3 sets sometimes with a pawn or 4's with pivot. thats still at the very bottom!

I think to quote mystery a PUG does very advanced sarging such as getting 8 sets from the month prior interacting with 8 sets from the next month, forward and back merging them, working everyone else in the club. Looking at that then looking at my game, is a big inspiration.
