If im with a bunch of my friends and theres like a cute or hot babe (HB lol) and none of them know the "game" they are all teasing her and negging her.

Youd probably think their naturals but their not. When they really try to get the girl they'r soooo AFC its embaressing.

But if were with a bunch of friends they would try to make eacother lagh by negging the girl and always teasing her. ALWAYS!!!!

So this bring me to a small problem... If i neg the girl, i seem VERY unoriginal...

I guess its kindof different becuase your complimenting and Also negging ( how CUTE (compliment) your nose WIGGLES (insult/neg)

i dont know... what do you guys think

yeah i wouldn't worry. teasing a girl is common and is natural with most confident guys. i see it all the time in my school.

First of all negs aren't the core of PU, I don't know where people get this idea. This is a gross over simplification but MM is based on the premise that the girl would otherwise shoot you down if you expressed interest until she's already interested in you. Other PUGs have proven that this isn't necessarily the case, it may be for Mystery; I don't know.
That being said, negs are different than teasing and are a fine art if you will. I honestly doubt you are seeing people throwing textbook negs, and may very well be simply teasing.

Even mystery got his insperation from somewhere or someone. Just think about it, you neg people (friends family partners) all the time its part of the normal social interaction. A neg is really a calibration of value. AFCs normally neg people of the same or lower social value, that establishes the social ranking. You risk pissing high value people off and may get rejected. Few AFCs dare neg HB8-10s, thats why it works best on them.

Don´t worry, while your AFC pals neg the HB6s, you go for their HB9 friend!

starting a conversation with a stranger is usually an IOI, especially if you start it with a hot babe.

negging is just a way so so you can start your conversation without giving her an IOI

A NEG: you say something to start the conversation, she thinks its an IOI, but then when she processes your sentence in her barin she finds out its not.

although giving an IOI (starting conversation) and then taking it back (removing the IOI by a good reason) might look like teasing its not about teasing per see, its about opening without showing IOI.

WOW negs aren't for PU, they are for bringing an HB down to level or deactivating bitchshields.

NEGGING when it isn't necessarily needed is just hostile and will get you nowhere.

Lol.. i only ever use negs when ive shown too many IOI's. it brings the hb closer to where you want them.

OK, to answer the original question. Reckless negging happens all the time. Look at it this way, are they negging with intent or a plan. Negs aren't the core of the game but if they aren't being used with follow up i think it would decrese any effectiveness. You said when they "really try to get her" they fail. Stay true to the game and you will surpass the fake competition around you.
