| So, I've found that many times when I go out to a place and I see a bunch of friends of mine who are girls, I use them to DHV myself (pre-selection and what not). We end up taking pictures and being loud and I make sure I am maintaining my personality of teasing them and still being a potential something even though we're "just friends".
Basically other girls who they know are like, "So who is this?" or "Who is he?" and sometimes girls even try and open my set like this.
Often I get, "He's our pimp!" And then I get introduced. Or I will get something along, "Oh him, he's a player," with the girls laughing and smiling the entire time.
I'll respond with, "Me a player?! Nooo, I'm not really a fan of video games," while laughing and with a big smile on, but I'll usually blush as if being caught red-handed (the body can't help that response) and then change the topic really quickly.
Or, I will say, "Pimp is so derogatory and demeaning, I have feelings you know (vulnerability/DHV showing I have an intellectual side), I'm more of bodyguard." And then I will try and change to regular game.
I usually respond with the same old answers, but I don't know what effect they have on my game for the girls I'm meeting. Immediately their shields go up when they hear this. It is a natural, instinctual response.
Should I just continue doing what I'm doing? It has been working, although it takes an extra effort, which is a waste of time.
I was wondering if any of you had some advice or have used this in the field? Any better or more efficient ways of handling this kind of situation?
