Ok, part of my "routine" when dealing with women in my age group, 35 to 42, is to play trivia games on older TV shows. When I reach a lull in the conversation, I say "OK, I'm gonna give you three clues and I want to see if you can name this TV series from the 70's."

1.) A dinosaur named Grumpy

Let them sit and think and throw out incorrect guesses.

2.) Ok, next clue. A cave man, or actually a cave boy, named "Chocca".

3.) Last clue, and you better get it this time because I guarantee you know this show. Final clue is "Sleastack".

If they still don't get it, I give them one free clue and that is "Marshall, Will and Holly".

Then I can move into Brady trivia and shit like that. It works really well adn it even works on mixed sets. After you go through a few of these, I swear the entire set loves me.

Basically, these were 30 minute "sitcoms" that were designed for children and young teenagers in the 70's. I guess I'm looking for the late 80's equivalent. I can queue it up on Netflix if someone can just tell me what shows the 25 year olds would relate to like this.

One nice thing about talking about shows that people haven't seen or even thought of in 15 years is that it makes them feel connected. More importantly, it's a good conversation that doesn't involve the same old AFC shit, like "where are you from, what do you do...blah, blah, blah".

Thanks in advance for the help.
