I came to a sort of realization about what it is to be an AMOG tonight. However small a revelation this is, it was important for me to realize and understand and I am better for it.
AMOG for those who don't know means Alpha Male of Group.
So tonight I was driving home with Class from our friend's hockey game and we were talking about our hockey playing buddy's great natural game. Somehow we got onto the topic of being Alpha.
I realized that when I feel Alpha, I feel like I'm in my element and can let my true personality show. The personality that shows when I am with my closest friends, the ones who can see the real me. In my personal opinion being Alpha means that you have made yourself, in a short amount of time, feel comfortable enough around the people around you that you can show your real self...the personality that shows through to a select few on a regular basis.
For me, that means I am the one telling the funny stories, the one keeping everyone laughing and being that guy who's making sure everyone is comfortable and having a good time, while still running my game on girls at a high level. When I can feel comfortable like that it's quite easy to be the Alpha Male. I feel that everyone is different in this respect and promotes different qualities when they are the Alpha Male. To me, being the AMOG comes most from feeling comfortable with everyone in the group, and having the confidence to let their best qualities show through. This will, in turn, allow everyone in the group to feel comfortable with you so you can all have a good time and get to know each other.
No matter how comfortable you feel within a group, if you have a target you're working on you can't forget to keep running game on her, which should be a lot easier if you're relaxed like this. There's a difference between trying to project comfort and confidence among other Alpha qualities; and actually feeling these qualities from within...they will emanate out and other people will pick up on them and be naturally attracted to them (not sexually per se, but definitely socially).
Class told me he is working on being the Alpha within a group and is still kind of discovering these qualities for himself but feels that his intellectual side can show much more easily under these circumstances. I myself have only recently come to these realizations about myself after being Alpha in certain situations.
Anywho, those are my recent thoughts and personal discoveries on being the Alpha Male of a Group. I'd like to see everyone else's thoughts on this. Discuss! hehe
