Posts: 147 | | So i had talked to this chick at school a while ago, and i thought that i would go up and dance woith her at the semi-formal dance tonight (12th grade) we were grinding and she was havin a good time and then after the song was done, she kinda moved a couple steps to her friend, so i just left, didn't wanna seem desperate...i feel soo dumb and rejected by this...and i am usually considered a good dancer, did she do this cause i was just doin shit? cause he friend was already dancin witgh another guy...please help

Posts: 147 | | ""doin shit""...meaning i was doing bad at dancing....and your right, i should have stayed put, i felt it would just be awkward because everyone there was either dancing with a girl or in a group... and i didn't want her to feel like i was being freaky by hanging around her...but a couple minutes before she ditched me, she whispered something in my ear, i couldn't quite make it out because we were righhhtt next to the speakers.. i think she said "i really like you" or "i love you" or "ur good" someethingg like that

Posts: 260 | | See I go clubbing a lot and when I went to all ages you just go up to girls and start dancing with them. Your case is different yes, since it was a semi formal.
But usually a girl will back off after a song unless you give her a reason not to. I mean if your just grinding with her and then the song finishes and your not offering her anything then any other guy is why would she stay. Basically start dancing with her face to face, and try to pull off a kiss (at all ages this is really easy), and if its a semi.
I just think you should mix it up.
