B9 : um.. I was born in Cape Town, I am 22 years old, ... (looks down) my name is Lisa ... I live down the street and I played soccer when I was little.
Me : So what is your real name?
B9 : oh wow
B7 : Her name is Hanna
Me : Is Hanna always this bad at lying?
B7 : no, usually she is pretty good
Me : You should probably avoid the poker tables

B9 : I don't know

Me : Okay, lets bet on it... a drink?
B9 : Okay

1) If you want to take it a step further, write out a continuation and conclusion and lets discuss it further. (This is the part i'm alittle stuck on so it would help me out greatly)

You just finished A3 so you should go to C1 if your following the M3.

In the other hand I think your missing a NEG or 2 and another time constant. Although it sounds smooth but it depends on how you deliberate. It could be a great way to create attraction, or you could look like a robot just saying memorized things.

I think its pretty important not to be robotic, so I practice alot of this stuff on friends and everything before i take it into the field.

Okay, so C1 I should probably go into the Cube Game here?
Also, maybe I should have a signal for my wing to take over her friend so I can isolate?
I've also been reading about take aways, wondering when to use those exactly.... maybe in the begining when sarging the whole bar...

You were still in A2. Instead of jumping into 5 questions, you should have used the lie game to get start a DHV story based off of one of the answers (the soccer one would work the best for me)

Get the group going in a conversation. Find a point to hook/reel/release. Now you just completed A3. If the conversation died, you could use the 5 questions to keep it going. It is difficult to get compliance to isolate in a two set but if it was a three set, that would be the next step.


Try not to routine stack as much and make sure there are stories in the mix.

I agree with Valence, you should have throw in at least one DHV story.

After that run another routine and then another story, finishing off A2. You then need to prod her into qualifying herself to you. Then run the cube to start off C1, or if you have a wing get him to occupy the obstacle and isolate the target to a C area and run the cube (did that sound really weird to anyone else? lol, something about using PUA lingo that makes it sound so robotic). I would have used maybe one neg or two, but mostly kept a cocky/funny attitude. Most people believe that a 'neg' is a cocky/funny statement that is supposed to be said with a grin. Originally, a NEG is something that is said completely neutrally and is a back handed compliment. I think we need to, as a community, come up with a new word for cocky/funny one liners that people are calling 'negs' even though they aren't.

I think I'll get started on that!
