It happens. I froze up last night when I opened a cashier with a new opener I'm working on (sorry, not gonna disclose it to everyone, just a select few I work privately with), but after I opened her, I just froze up and wasn't sure how to transition into anything else. I guess I was so surprised at how well it worked and that I had finally really opened up one of the girls that I have been seeing there all the time and wanting to talk to, but not knowing what to really say.

So yeah, It will happen. Even Style said something in The Game about freezing up and it was after he had already become a pretty decent PUA. I can't remember the specific situation, but I remember he was beating himself up over it.

It's tough man, happens to everyone.

My failsafe is one of these lines:
"Hold that thought, I need to go to the bathroom"
"excuse me for a second, something more important has come up."
"I just need to talk to my friend for a second"

Point is, when you feel that your freezing up, cut the conversation with a quick excuse, take a minute to collect your thoughts and then go back into the fight. You might DLV at this point, but it's usually better than loosing the whole battle. Having a wingman also helps a lot.

Most important, don't kill yourself over this. Shit happens, and theres nothing much you can do except lick your wounds and learn the lesson.

Oh yes, rocker, it does happen. It happened to me this weekend too. I had a couple of excellent opportunities, but just blew it. Maybe because I was just too tired to do it, I don't know, but I still blew it.
