| PUA Field Report: Halloween Weekend
Alright my PUA Brothers in Crime... I guess this is the part where I post my field report and get my game torn up. But hopefully, I can pick up some useful pointers. One big question at the end. Here we go.
Location: A Halloween Party at some club SF, then a House Party
Date: 10/28/06 - 10/29/06
So my friends and I hit up this club in SF. And I must say, it was a bit intimidating at first since the odds seemed against me. Most of the people were like way tall and I was the only ethnic minority in the whole club. But heck, these issues are trivial matters if a brother's got strong game, right? Anyways, things that I noticed worked really well was the 3 second rule. I opened up so many sets that night it was awesome. My wing was speechless as he's still immobilized by approach anxiety. And the great thing is I realized is that there are only a few ways a PUA can get AMOGed or Bitch Shielded. 1) Most AMOGers just say we don't want any part of this... end of story. 2) Girls either turn their back or leave. Big deal. I just opened up another set. The opener I was using was the "Can I get your advice on something... it'll just take a second. My friend (wing) and I are new to the area and are looking for some fun Halloween parties to go to, do you know of any?" The reason why I like this one is because it opens the doors to some canned stories I've prepared that work for any response. Anyways, 7 approaches and some good conversation, but no number closes.
We then went to a house party of this rich oral surgeon. Now that was awesome. There were many beautiful women. And I ran the same game. Negging, I find works so well, especially if you're playful at it. And storytelling with canned material always keeps things interesting. But the highlight of the night occurred when I met this really beautiful girl in the courtyard. 3 months ago, I would have been like a limp dick, but this time around I started spitting mad game thanks to our great forefathers MM and Style. Before I knew it, I was showing her a magic trick, reading her palm, teasing her with negs, and really keeping the interaction interesting. But sadly, no number close (even though she got mine, I tried, but couldn't get hers).
In summary, one thing I've learned, and one question for my PUA brothers. The one thing I've learned is that I'm happy to say that I really believe this stuff works. Even though my game is improving every day, it's stronger than it's ever been before. And I think the most important part of being a PUA is the mindset. To not be outcome dependent is key. And to realize that sarging is natural in nature is important as well. My only question is this. I think my sticking point right now, is I have a hard time staying in set's long enough to number close. I have a pretty good opening routine, but then I have a hard time carrying it on to the hook point/number close. Any advice you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. More stories? Just keep on throwing out canned materials until I run out? What do you guys think? Thanks.
