Rapid Social Design: This is the field of study that deals with social dynamics in the context of an intent to facilitate a certain social structure/scene. Rapid, defines that within an evening, a Social Designer can learn to organise and bring together groups of people in a social event and manage the sets in such a way as to provide the highest level of entertainment. The addition to the term Rapid, is in context of the fact that these designs are fleeting, essentially designed and maintained for a short period of time while the Designer is present. The purpose of social design is to provide high level interaction, entertainment and an experience for those present. This is essentially a new form of social entertainment.

A social designer will use a toolbox of skills to connect people in an environment, this is a step up from the concept of a pickup artist, who aims to pickup a target. A social designer aims to design social scenes. Similar to the social designer is an event manager, an event manager however is branded under a corporate or business umbrella and the events involve more than social aspects that are outside the business of the event manager.

An example of which is walking into an event, opening a set, making a superficial connection then leaving and opening another set, then subdividing mentally the two sets into shared and different properties, now using subtle techniques, bring the two sets together into a larger single set. Now opening another set, performing the same action and merging into the larger single set. These social designs are based on NLP patterns used that bring the two groups to a shared social mindset.

An analogy is that of a chef, cooking food, who uses certain ingrediants to give the soup a certain taste. Each group has a key word or theme that they either begin to emote themselves or are programmed with. Then, another theme is designed in another set, this could be a 50s gansta theme, while the respective set is a nun's theme. Now, you bring the two concepts together, thus providing a fantasy story to be played out by the people themselves.

Upon completion is essentially a scene created from a set of patterns that defines evening. A scene that has been impromptu designed by the social designer. This kind of act, when done right, will flick more high value switches than any other system out there.

Now, the idea is there... Now it needs to grow. Feedback and critisizm asap. The more feedback and discussion the better the system will become.
