Well to be perfectly hoest I'm not the most savy guy, needless som of he guys and I we're out and about today and a lady caught my eye. Let me sto here and say I am the geekiest guy you might ever meet I don't look it If I may say so but I definately am. So this girl is in a uniform doing some kind of jazz forties performence. Al I can think to say is geat performance and what rank are you today. I personally am a USAF sergant. She smiled and said she really had no idea I then walked off as did she she had to get on with the performance and saw some of her friends wanted to say hi I am going to the same performance in one week and need to know what to say and well do. Also something that imediately screamed disengage was a ring around her finger. She told me however she was not married, a promise ring maby. Every way you look at it I'm in a seemingly bad situation any avice that might keep me fro m being an epic failure would help.

I know a wall of words

first off thanks for what you do in the service. i hope to be in the usaf as well. if everything goes as planned i will attend AFA. anyways you might have figured out by now im younger than you, but that doesnt matter... if i were you i would just stick to this website, buy one or two of the books you hear people talk about, and hope for the best. throw away all of your fears, these years are your only shot and you will regret not talking to a certain woman your whole life. i'll leave you with this, always have a gameplan... bored at work? (why would you be) practice mock conversations with yourself (in your head of course) and go over all the posibilities of what a girl might say, and what you would say in response to that.

I would focus on improving your open. Your question, what rank are you today, calls for a one word answer. How about, "what got you interested in dancing" or something more open ended. Listen to her answer and build off that. For example, if she say, "Oh, I've been dancing since I was 3" you can say, "Wow, I really admire that about you that you've stuck to the same thing for so long." Then you can talk about something you've been putting a lot of time and effort into in your life, and how it felt to improve over time, go through stages, whatever. I would not, however, brag about your life long devotion to improving your PUA skills. She might not like that.

Make a list of other possible open ended questions to get your mind thinking that way. The answer to your question should tell you something new about her, something you can build on.

Good luck
