I went to the beach with this some friends, and one of my friends likes the one girl that i'd consider as the target of the bunch. Therefore, i couldnt exactly build any sort of rapport too obviously because i didn't want to piss off my friend...i just wanted to practice on her.

I know this girl is attracted to me because at a previous party she took my phone and put her number in it and did lots kino/compliments/gazes/etc. I'm not sure what exactly happened. When they picked me up to go...i negged and teased her in the car, and she never seem to get angry but would rather compliment me more. So at the beach we're in the water and i say "it's really fun teasing you" and i smiled attempting to look playful and she said "i thought u weren't like the other guys and you were nice". And then i defiantly felt w/e tension between us diminish A LOT(froze out on me completely when we got back to the towels).

The rest of the day was on and off stuff ...like wrestling with eachother...but then if i try to ask her about why she likes opera or w/e book she's reading..i get simplicitic one word answers. This i consider her freezing out.

My questions: How do you respond when a girl turns the tables and freezes on you? What is a good way to esculate rapport/sexual tension with someone but still be subtle so no one around you catches on? But i mainly couldn't find a middle ground with this girl...at times i'd neg her and she'd be at ease..other times she'd be pissed..and i couldnt even get past the negging to rapport because any "semi nice" thing i said to her ie: "she: i got my hair cut..you didn't notice" me: well..i prefer long hair, but yours looks nice" . She defiantly boosted her value with that comment rather than seeing it as a rapport build/appreciation of what i said. So anything beyond negging seemed to boost her ego, but negging was getting old, so what is there to do? THANKS AGAIN GUYS!

Well my advice is DONT EXAGERATE WIF THE NEGS! well neg her its essential but you cannot exagerate it!
The other advice is if you get the IOIs nescessary go after! dont wait and continue on the neg phase...or she will loose the interest on you...

Example:

You: What are you reading? (or whatever)
Her: (Generic one word answer)
You: Well, you've officially bored the hell out of me, gotta go. (Or something along those lines)

Then procede to go have fun in another area, best if you are in her sight.
