I read this in another forum, so props to others for this.

What to do when you did not exchance phone numbers in each others phone and only have her number.

You call and she does not pick up because she does not recognize the number. You have to leave a voicemail message.

What do you do.

Call the voice mail, make a comment about something pertaining to the time you go the number but do not finish the sentence. Cut the call off in mid sentence.

I've used it a couple of times now and it worked well. You avoid any 'so call me' or any of that stuff.
