Long story short, I'm lost on what to do for Valentines Day. I entered the game a couple of years ago and have just recently decided to pursue a relationship rather than just having fun. I have been dating this girl for a couple of weeks and we decided to go ahead and call it offical. This is honeslty the first time I've had a chick around this time of year and I'm a little lost on what to do as far as something fun. Any of you guys have some ideas?

I'd say rope in some friends to help with the logistics and go on a picnic (weather dependent), somewhere with a nice bit of sunset and put soem candles around.
Just something different from the standard present rule (something shiny, something smelly, something tasty) and a meal.

I would suggest if your going to stay home you can make her a dinner. something realy fansy. Then watch a romantic movie. Keep it simple

have you ever watched any of the older national lampoon movies or any other movie that showed people visiting ridiculous roadside things like "the world's biggest ball of yarn" or other such items? no kidding, these really exist. every state has some, and they're usually within reasonable distance to major highways.
this year, before plans got all screwed to hell, i was going to take one of my girls on a mini-roadtrip to see a number of these sights. it would have taken about 4-6 hours (including stops and lunch) and had about 10 sights to see so there wouldn't have been much time in between to stumble over the wrong things to say. for each thing, i was going to put folder (those $0.25 ones) in her hands with printed directions on the cover and the details of the stop inside for her to read upon arrival. easy to do, cheap (unless you drive an suv), and provides plenty of time to spend one-on-one with your girl.
