I been working on improving my text game and I seem to have ran into a little problem. Girls seem to think I am making an excuse not to talk to them when I tell them I taking care of business, but as soon as I get the chance I will call them. As I am actually taking care of business. Is there a way to let them know via text messaging that I am interested in talking to them, but I can't right now without them thinking I am not interested in not talking to them?

This has happened to me 3 times so far and each time I had a legit reason for not being able to talk to them on the phone. Its pretty annoying when it happens.

Tell them specefically what you are doing.

If you just say "taking care of business", thats vague and it looks like your blocking her out/keeping her in the dark.

"Busy", huh?

How old are these girls? I find it hard to believe that any mature woman wouldn't understand that you can't pick up the phone *this instant*, and that you have an actual life and can't be at their beck and call all the time. Just send a quick text if you can't reply to their call, and if they can't live with that, it's their problem.

I do tell them what I am doing. I told the last girl via text that I was baby sitting my dog as she recently had surgery and I had to be quiet. I get a text back saying "Well thanks 4 playing along, hope your dog gets better". I called her up when my dog went to sleep and told her that I couldn't talk when my dog is awake as she has to remain quiet at all times until the staples come out.

The call itself was quick and she said that she will call me today. I don't exactly have a high hopes that she will call me. If she does great, but if not I may give her a call today or tomorrow.

The first time it happen the girl was 19 and I chalk it up to her being young and doesn't know any better. The second time it happen the girl was 28. And there I thought maybe I sent the wrong signs to her. The last one is 23. And I can't think to why she thought I was not interested in her. As I spent a week sending messages back and forth with her on an online dating site. I don't do that unless I am actually interested in the girl and willing to work to get her. But I am most certainly going to hold back on showing interest if we do chat on the phone until I know she is serious about meeting up, instead of playing games with me as I don't put up with such things.
