Here's just something I was thinking about today.
You know how there's the whole manly view of "Don't worry love, I'll do that and you just sit back and relax". Well, I think it's bullshit. Sure the girl might like to watch you being independent and all, and cooking dinner for her by yourself is cool, but in my opinion, she'll have more fun if she's apart of it. That way, you'll be engaging with her a whole lot more as you're both doing the same activity. So, if she's over for dinner, get her to help you, cut up the carrots, do whatever! If you haven't done it, try it, and you'll have a lot of fun. It always makes it easy to get messy together and end up cleaning each other.
This goes for anything, washing the car, cleaning something, whatever. So if you've got the whole macho idea, I think you should loose it. This is just my thoughts, if you think against it, tell me, everyone has an opinion.

Yes you are right about that. If i am going to cook for her, I'll probably tell her, "Hey you are not here to watch me wearing this sexy apron and cook free dinner for you. Come help me chop up the vegetables already. In this way, I can still blame you if we ever get food poisoning later."

The first time I cook for someone, she can't help me. I apprenticed as a chef for a bit, and if I want to make an impression, I cook by myself and it's wonderful (my skills in a kitchen and my skills in the bedroom are the only reasons Mocha keeps me around). After that, we can play. I like to have dinner -almost- ready when she shows up, so that we have time to talk while I set servings.

I had Ez over before Ross Noble and I was cooking curry, so I got her to chop up and vegies and make the salad. It was fun. When they are at the bench doing something, it makes it perfect just to slide up behind them and slip your arms around them.
