If you are worried about feeling the wrong emotion (note that however ridiculous that sounds you and many other AFC's and aspiring PUA's feel it) then you are not a PUA.

One of the most important lessons that PU can teach ANY of us. Is that the most charming/slick/attractive thing we can do, is be ourselves. Girls hate guys who try and hide behind a facade, girls love guys who are brave (physically AND emotionaly).

Chick flicks have never really gotten me. I don't know maybe I am a little to over analytical for movies. But there are a few songs that get me.

Part of controlling your emotions is being able to show someone that you can empathize with what they're feeling. Are you going to be that guy who's afraid to give a crying girl a hug because you're insecure with your emotions, or are you going to be the guy who can embrace that same girl and connect with her on the same level, and let her know you're feeling the same way when she needs someone to hold onto? It sounds sorta cliché, but whatever.
