Right, I haven't been actively gaming for a while but I thought I would start posting again.

As I was chilling out doing a little writing today a HB8 came over and sat at my table. After a while we started chatting, and four hours later I wondered what exactly had just happened.

Now, I didn't use any game that I had learned in the past. In fact I was struggling to remember my patterns and DHVs etc as I was talking to her.

I walked away promising to add her to my facebook and I hope a second meeting is on the cards.

I suppose in retrospect the conversation went on too long and maybe I should have put an end to it sooner. Would that have been a sensible thing to do? It felt natural just to carry on chatting, but maybe it was AFC? I don't know but I was the one who walked away which was good if nothing else.

So anyway, I'm back about. Hoping to meet the new crowd on here

Man this one point is such a great point that can often be forgotten when trying to get your game right.

For me at least, i often find myself thinking what to do next, or what is not an afc thing to do but when i read what you say you are totally right.

Life is ment to be lived and if you are having fun living then that is success.
If you talk for 4 hours with a chick you probably built some kind of rapport and can probably if you want do something with her later. And because you enjoyed yourself enough the first meating to keep talking with her then you may have the same fun later.

I agree, the only reason you would have wanted to pull out sooner is if the conversation was dying out or getting boring, but it seems that was not the case. Let us know how things go with this girl and if you get a day 2
