I think you did a very good job. If I understand the report right, the one bit of advice I would give is to set your sights higher. From this report, I believe you could have probably pulled a threesome. I have been in this exact situation multiple times, even in my bedroom before I had my own apartment, and it can work. You played it all right, up until you started making out with the girls before they kissed each-other. Every girl I have ever met is only a few drinks away from being bi.
