You don't believe that guys can have the same standards as women and not have sex if they can't get with girls that actually interest them? You think that if a guy hasn't had sex in a while, he would rather sleep with a girl that he isn't attracted to, rather than remain celebate?
Rye ,
I'm in a similar situation to yours. I've been celibate for almost 2 years. Its because I have this rule that I don't sleep with women that I'm not dating seriously. I am not shy about talking about this, because I feel that the women that I do want to sleep with will respect this. I have turned down sex from attractive women all but the 4 times I was in a serious relationship.
Lately I'm getting a cooped up feeling since its been so long, so sometimes to add to the sexual tension - I'll tell a girl that I haven't had sex in over a year. But then I tell them I'm not going to have sex with them either. This usually leads to the girl trying her hardest to impress me so we will have sex. I like it because I get what I want, a way to separate the trashy promiscuous girls from the ones who think they really like me.
You could easily "tell" them what I do, even if its not true, and you could let them try to convince you that you should break your rule. Trust me, they will try. I don't break my rule, but I've had some pretty close calls.
