I was pretty drunk in a club in Sofia when travelling to Bulgaria.
I was like 'ahh fuck it just gonna try and random pickup a chick'
I didn't use any 'real game' just some 'drunk and hope it works' game

The first 15 seconds of the conversation came out very confident and while im also good looking it gave her a really positive reaction. But after the first 15 seconds it went totally AFC lol.

So there was this HB8 a brunette.She was sitting down, i spotted her just sitting not talking to anyone, so i sat next to her in an angle but not too close.
Me: Hey how are you?
HB: (Smiles and looking interested) Good! You?
Me: (smiles and from here on keeps his drunk smile on for 2 minutes)Good but i am new in town im here for holidays im from Sweden bla bla.
-From here on it went total AFC interview style. While asking every question i leaned in and grabbed her around her back/shoulder for the duration of the question-
Me: What's your name?
HB: Desislava
Me: Ok my name is Egocentricfear... So.. what do you do?
HB: Well i am a student i am at college bla bla..
Me: (Impressed voice) Ooooh thats gooood! I have some friends here in Bulgaria and it was 5 years ago i visited them, so i i'm here seeing them.
Hb: Ah i see.
Me:Do you do sports?
Hb: No and you
Me: (kind of in a bragging voice) Yeees i do Jiu-Jitsu, and Karate AND Wrestling.
She: Oh.
Me: (sounding like trying to impress her) And i alsooo lift weights!!
She: Faking to act impressed but probably thinking in her mind 'What a liar/ bragger'
Me: (Uber AFC)I see your glass is almost empty, what do you drink? Beer, wodka? I'm gonna head over to the bar and get a drink for both of us. (Saying this while not realizing my bottle of beer was still almost full)
HB: Well i don't drink alcohol.
Me: Really, you don't drink alcohol? Not even a little?
HB: Well i drink sometimes, but not tonight.
Me: Cmon you really don't wanna drink alcohol? (at this point sounding like some pervert trying to get her drunk at date rape her lol)
HB: No
Me: Ok.

Then i sat there, next to her drinking, both silent, for another 2 minutes, while not knowing anyone else in the club. Where after i stood up and went to drunk dance to the music that i wasn't even liking.

For the next 30 minutes i was looking at her from time to time from distance, and staring her when she left the club like 'You're leaving and not saying me goodbye?'

This pickup was a total fail, i recognise it myself.
At the point i didn't care at all because of my intoxication.
And now i even find the fail very funny, at least its good i can laugh with my own fails.
But the girl remained still pretty reactive/perceptive the whole time, and was really friendly and looked interested the first 15 seconds.

I think if i had a even a little game, and way more confidence and less neediness,
this was a really easy target.

Grr i hate myself, i'm so good looking (other people tell me all the time) but with so low confidence it is so weird. Can't get over my neediness and pleasing others.

Imagine Bradd Pitt going into a store and speaking with a soft shy voice looking kind of scared. That's how i look. Well i exagereated ofcourse, just want to get you an idea.

Ha ha been there myself in my younger days, i think everyone has... alchohol can pump your state... in moderation, funny read tho.

The alcohol did not kill the conversation. The tone, content en the complete lack of humor did. This is a nice guy conversation, be more naughty. Always slip in a subtle sexual remark. Please do note the word subtle.

Yeah it was a really stupid conversation, i still have to think about this and laugh often about it, but im glad i see the humor in my failure.

This seemed like the type of girl that you could pull off 'nice guy style' with her, but yeah you are right the tone mostly and the content totally made this conversation a fail in pickup

Hey, it's no biggie man. I am a newbie in this area, I try to get it perfect every time.

But when you're drunk, and your friends are drunk too, and you know that you will probably come out as a... well, a drunk guy x)... Just have fun - fuck it up just for the sake of it!

My friend, we (those of us who drink) have all been there. I am no stranger to ruining my chances using 'drunken shit chat.' Alcohol boosts our confidence and heightens our emotional state- that's why we do it and its why most of us have a bit of a love-hate relationship with it. My advice to you would be to drink a little less if your goal is to pick up women. If your goal is to get absolutely smashed and unable to see or walk then don't expect to pull that night. But In hindsight ignoring the alcohol, you should try negging her a bit, always include humour. I've started drawing up flowcharts of my sarges so I can pinpoint what I did wrong and what I did right. Analyse your fails and work on a strategy to alter it.
