Before I went out, I finished my intro to NLP book, had a decent meditation, and did an approach anxiety relaxation audio. (Which I woke up midway seeing a tarantula climbing down towards me!) Meaning!?!?

Anyway, went out with both my wings tonight, and met up with one of them at Moxie's (a bar and grill / lounge) He had been drinking all evening and I knew we were off to a rough start when he announced to the bartender to warn the women in the venue that I was a pick-up artist. (First rule of Fight Club!?)

We hung out, and I didn't get any approaches in because I still hadn't hit state, and if I bombed, I'd have stunk up the whole venue. So, I played it safe and just hit on the server. (Which I admit, I'm not proud to not do any cold approaching, but...)

Finally got out of the bar and grill, and headed downtown after the suggestion from the server. (Who my natural buddy number closed, promising her career leads) Fighting in the car on the way DT, and I sunk deeper into my shell.

Hit up the club that was suggested, and it turns out to be quite bumping, but I go in cold, and need to amp my energy quick. Nothing really hits, and I suggest leaving after one drink.

Next venue is dead, followed by cover, followed by a sausage fest... The night ensues. At this point I throw in the towel, and cut my loses.

I feel defeated at this point because I'm attending a bootcamp in a weeks time, and I'm putting pressure on myself to up my game as much as possible, so that I make progress over the weekend.

I also plan on doing this full-time come the fall, and if I'm not getting results now. (You know the rest, add negative, defeated attitude)

Frustrated Chump :|
