So I was just with this old friend named Tyler I had lost contact with. He clearly has his social situation figured out, as we ended up in his friends penthouse (his friend was out of town) in a very trendy part of my city. The connection between the two of us was still good, and I was excited to see how he had changed.

Tyler had arranged for two girls to meet us nearby, and I could tell even as we left the building that he had some game. He opened people in elevators or hallways, and his attitude made me much more comfortable opening cold sets. We opened a couple groups as we walked over to establish a mindset.

After failing to connect with them a couple of times we met up at a coffee place. One (Tyler's date) was a brunette HB9 with gorgeous eyes, her friend was an HB7, talkative but no one special. I commented on how closely we had missed each other to establish myself talking early, and not get stuck sitting in silence. One of them had been talking about needing to go home, so Tyler very quickly took the lead on moving us to the penthouse. There was some token ASD from the more attractive one but no problems.

Upstairs the vibe was good, especially on the balcony, but when Tyler left the room (and apparently met people from a busted party a few floors down) we managed to hit the wrong setting on the TV and get it stuck and the interaction turned a little awkward. When they had to leave we walked them to their car and rode back up from the parking garage.

Nothing eventful happened, really, but it was interesting to see some natural comfort game. Tyler was taking the lead on decisions and managing to talk on any subject (which I need to work on, I too often wait until I have a really good story for the topic). I try to kino a lot, and he may have just been picking up on that, but he was touching very frequently. He never negged or upset the target, but he says outrageous things just to see if anyone will believe him, which can generally get the group laughing. Educational day.
