Thought i'd post this because i always find FRs interesting to read. Any feedback is more than welcome. And feel free to use any of the ideas.
So me and my wing (NKRunner) and 2 other mates, we'll call them C1 and C2, went to a charity gig last night, with a few local bands. I had a bet with C1 for £2.50 that i couldn't #close 3 girls. (This is a fun way to get yourself to actually approach by the way if you're with mates, try it!) On the way there i engaged in friendly conversation with a woman at the bus stop, just to warm up (again all the little things help get rid of AA!) Get to the gig, and i see a 4 set including one person who i see around quite a lot. I pick them out as potential targets for the night. Also notice i'm recieving plenty of IOIs from a HB7 who was with what i assumed was her friend and the friend's bf. NKRunner notices he sees someone who he sort of knows. C1 and C2 are both uninterested in pulling at the moment but say they will help DHV if i want.
As the gig gets underway i approach the 4-set by walking straight towards the one i recognise. I simply say "Hiya, remember me?!" but with a great big smile on my face and an air of confidence. In the set are a HB4 (one i know) and 2 HB7s. The other one disappeared pretty quickly - her bf was in one of the bands. Anyway, the 2 HB7s are clearly taken aback by my approach and proceed to give off the awkward conversations that provide the hint that they're interested - pointing out silly little things and the like. I introduce myself and shake hands (initial kino) and follow with some fun comments about a balloon that was being passed around. C1 and C2 are both busy watching the music but i invite NKRunner over, who helps me in the midgame - 2 heads are better than one for getting conversation going. We decide to head outside, and C2 has managed to claim the balloon. We play a light-hearted game of touch rugby with the balloon - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT for building kino.
I notice during the game that one of the HB7s is basically stalking me. I test this theory by literally turning around and walking to the corner and facing the corner - within 10 seconds she had came up and asked what i was doing. I said i was scared she was stalking me and that she'd just proved i was right - again its all in HOW you say stuff. The game ends (its getting serious as C1 and C2 get pretty competitive!). The rest of the 4 set come back together and we're all sort of in a group. I'm giving off the alpha male feeling - NKRunner, C1 and C2 are all naturally quieter lads. I joke around, slipping in a few negs (such as "does this girl have an off button?!"). Pretty standard game. We add a false time constraint - said something like need to go get a drink, so we'll see you later on. We leave, knowing full well that the HB7 would be back at some point! (quite a scary stalker really
). On the way, we see someone NKRunner recognises. I instantly say to her "hey my friend says he knows you".
Its weird how when you're in the right mood you don't need to even think about doing something like that. I fully recommend warm up sets and the like, just to get yourself into the necessary cockily arrogant mood for sarging. Motivational music playlists are brilliant, and on the way to the gig me and the other lads decided to do a 'never mind the buzzcocks' style music intros round for some strangers, again just getting in a confident fun mood.
Back to the gig, NKRunner #closes the girl he knew, and we go back inside. There's a table football game going on between C1, C2 and one of my other friends who was at the gig. Me and NK join in, and before long the 4 set return. I decide to take a seat, and HB7 joins me very quickly. She grabs my bag off me and starts going through my stuff. In my bag i always keep some things - a drink, deodorant, and man-perfume. The man-perfume is always a good thing - girls take it out and smell it obviously, but also it DHVs - you show you DO care about how you smell not just how you look. Also in there is a pad of post-it notes and a pen. I don't even say anything, HB7 takes out the pad and pen and starts writing something down. I look over, its her number. I call her cheeky, and she says she has to go. We exchange hugs and she leaves. I text her an hour later asking if she normally shamelessly goes around hitting on guys. I get a few compliments back. But I won't be pursuing her because she kinda creeps me out with the stalking.
The rest of the 4 set then leave to go home. I see a 3 set - HB5, HB6, HB7. I walk over and ask them if i can try something out i learned on the internet. I get my post its out again and end up doing the Cube. (I find it easier when they can genuinely see and imagine a cube, literally just draw a cube on there). They seem impressed and interested, and i end up asking if they have any hidden talents. One of them is giving off a lot of sexual energy, the other 2 seem slightly awkward. I #close the sexual one with the "i'm off now, but you seem like you'd make a good secretary... *confused looks from her* ... but how can you be my secretary if i don't have your number?!" Again, the delivery is all important, you need to give of a cheeky arrogance and SMILE. She complies happily, we leave.
All in a good nights work. Oh yeah, i didn't have to give the £2.50 to C1 - i get my mate's MUM's number after she gives me a lift home. I said it was just in case i ever should need it, really it was because i'm a tight bastard and didn't want to pay up. And even if i was going to pay up, it wouldn't be my own money - i'd managed to "borrow" £2.50 off a blonde HB7 as 'bus fare' for me and NK. The blonde HB7 added me on facebook today, am commencing facebook game as i type.
