...out and about!
Hey all, first field report here.
A bit about me, I've been learning game now for 9 months by looking at and anaylising as much free PUA material on the net as possible. Unfortunately I'm one of the most shy and unconfident AFC's you could probably meet on this forum, which is why it has taken me sooooo long to do something.
Anyway, last night my game sucked. Yes, I'll happily admit it, but I only went out to do some AA drills, half-hearted approaches, and generally just to have a good time.
I went out with another guy off this forum called Rubbra. He picked me up from my place at about 8:45 and then we first went to Whetherspoons in Town.
WHETHERSPOONS (Bar)
APPROACH NO 1: After Rubbra approached asking at 2 set of HB5's where the club we were going to was and doing an ok job of it, I went over to what was a 2 set, however, little did I know that one of them was going to be somebody I actually KNEW! A girl I knew from College a year back was sitting with her HB 6ish blonde friend. She herself is only really a HB 4. However I couldn't see it was her as the large wooden side of their seat was blocking my view.
I approached with "Excuse me girls, I know your in the middle of something but... oh my God I know you!!!!!" I don't really know what my facial expression and body language was like at that specific moment but it must have been something a bit strange.
But I adapted to the situation and had a nice chat for a minute with that girl I knew. They asked "what was I going to ask them orgionally" and I did. They replied, I said "nice to see you again mate, have a good evening" as well as shaking her hand and tapping her arm for a bit of kino, and that was that.
APPROACH NO 2: After Rubbra had briefly approached a couple of other sets, on the way out of Spoons it was my job to approach a 4 set of girls between HB7-8's if there were any other decent bars around here. One of the girls (who seemed to me to be the "Alpha Female" of the group) did most of the talking with another girls behind her adding in at times too. They all seemed to be quite observant but a bit sort of mystified as to why I was talking to them, but anyway after getting some answers I did the "safe" gesture to the main girl of the set and we went on our way next door to the club.
SEKUSHI (Night Club)
So after getting into the club, we got some drinks and sat down to chill out and chat for a while. To the left of us were 3 girls, one HB4, one HB5, and one HB7. Rubbra openede them with "Do you think I look like prince Harry?" and got a decent chat going with the HB5 and bit from the HB4. However the HB7 looked very shy and not very talkative, even to her friends. I possibly could have winged him and tried to have opened the HB7, but it was loud and I didn't really have anything to say to come in with.
APPROACH NO 3: Rubbra opened the other set to the right of us. They were a 3 set as well, one HB4, one HB5 and one HB6. One of them had a shirt on saying "Milf to be" and he asked why did she have that shirt on. She pointed to her stomach and he laughed and then we went to the outside bit. We saw them again when they came outside too and we had a chat with them about where they were from (which included me taking the piss out of their place, playfully) and what they were doing tonight and the like. They didn't really interest us and seemed quite boring and uninteresting so we left it at that.
APPROACH NO 4: We went back into the club, went further in the room and bit and the 2 girls that Rubbra first approached in Whetherspoons were there. I just approached them with "Hey, you having a good time tonight?" and "Do you remember my friend he spoke to you earlier". All I go from one of the girls was a one word answer: "Yeah". They were only HB5's and seemed like they were in a world of their own so I just got the hell out of there and talked to Rubbra for a bit.
APPROACH NO 5: Last approach I did of the night. Back in the first bar of the club, just saw a lonely 2 set, again only HB 5's. I asked them "do you girls know any good shops that sells cheap booze around here?". The one to my left pointed to the bar and said, "cheap booze? there!" and pointed to the bar. I replied with "but I mean like a shop" and they both nodded their head's side to side and said "no, sorry". I wasn't really interested in them and they seemed boring too.
After that Rubbra and I left the club, got to the car, and we went home.
CONCLUSION
So what did I make of the night? I'd give my game last night a 4/10. I was pretty poor and the approaches were only half-hearted. I could have done a lot better if I had more confidence and experience but I will get that more as I go and approach more frequently.
I'd give my attitude last night an 8/10. Especially for adapting well to the situation when I saw my friend.
Overall it was a pretty fun and nice night and at least I actually went out in field and did something for once. I'd give the general score last night 6/10.
