So here’s how the night went. I have to preface this saying my mentality took a 180* less than an hour before going out. I was all gung ho about going out and got my Wing to buy in but for some dumbass reason I decided to check up on my ex who I am obviously not over. So that being said, I’m not saying the night was a success but I’m also not saying it’s a failure.

1. Met Wing at a bar (I'm not a club guy). Good place btw. Got skeet ball and pool and they have karaoke some nights. I got there before he did and while I was waiting I kept getting eyes from a chick. Not the fuck me eyes, but definitely an invitation to come open her, but for said reason I didn’t. When he got there I noticed a friend there with someone else. So I approached her and talked for a few minutes. Introduced Wing and we kind of did a lap. I've never really done any approaches so we had talked about him showing me how it's actually done but he didn't. A few minutes later my friend walked over to where we were and we talked, laughed and were generally having a good time. Kino was going on between her and I so I had the room social proofed and for all the girls around I had pre-selection but again, couldn’t approach anyone. After a while we walked over to the other spot.

2. Had been there 5 minutes and I was leaning up against the pool table doing something on my phone and girl walks up and says “I’m digging the hat” or something to that effect. I’m startled by it so it actually takes me a few seconds to respond but I just say thanks and we start talking. I use the hat to lock in. I don’t really remember how the first few minutes of conversation went but I know it wasn’t any of the normal kiss ass stuff. Wing comes in and starts talking with us but he is higher energy and kind of steals the show I think but not to the point where she loses interest. I throw in a couple of negs and escalate kino. I keep my body language on the neutral to negative side giving a few small IOI’s along the way. Wing and I play a game of pool and give her the hat again telling her to hold it for me. She goes outside to smoke with her friends. We follow when finish our game. She reopens when I walk outside. I get a phone call and step away. When I come back she’s talking to her friends so I approach them and say “Are these your friends?” She says they are and I respond “You have friends!?!” Laughing and smiling. She swipes my hat off my head and kind of flips me off laughing and what not. I introduce myself to her friends. It seemed like it was awkward to me but I don’t think I let it show too much. I asked her to come play pool right in front of her friends and she complies. I start walking back inside but she doesn’t follow immediately so I keep walking. She comes inside a minute later. During the game I keep kino going but never really more than just hand claps or what not. We hug after our game (I win btw). I tell her Wing and I are going back to Jacks and invite her to come along saying "I need a hat rack" or something to that effect. She says thanks but she’ll stay with her ride. I say cool and walk back to Jacks with Wing.

3. I try to open another set there but they’re really drunk and by then I’m not at high enough energy. So basically I talk to a dude while I’m waiting on my drink about his cool tattoo. It was really a cool tattoo btw lol.

4. I make a last ditch effort to get a num close so I go back over to the other place. The target and I make eye contact for a sec but I keep walking and get in the line for the head. She comes walking up and snatches my hat off my head and walks away. I do my business in the head and go look for her. When I find her I call out "Thief" playfully and she returns my hat but I can't isolate again to ask for her num. Out of energy, brain power and ideas, I leave.

Feedback would be appreciated. I know I did good things and I know I made mistakes but being so new at this I'm not sure of everything.

I mean that if you want her number ask her you dont have to get her away from everyone to do that. if you wanted to isolate just tell her friends she's coming to the bar with you so you can get a drnk
