I am really proud of myself tonight. My two friends and I went out to the mall to do our first attempt at daygame. I had done a few approaches before but they were all night time and they were terrible, and it was about a year ago.

So finally me and my two wings decided to just go out there and have some fun with it. So we walk around the mall for about an hour coming up with every excuse not to approach girls. (shes not hot enough, shes not alone, shes too hot, i bet she has a bf, etc.) Finally we go into Hollister and I see an HB6 sitting on a recliner in the middle of the store on the girls' side. So I thought the more rediculous the opener was, the less I would be nervous. So I grab a pink shirt with lace and frills, hold it up to myself, and this is what I said:

Ethan: Would this make me look gay?
HB6: Umm...yeah.
Ethan: Oh. Well I like it anyway.

And that was the end of that. After that my wings were pumped to go approach for themselves, and I was pretty pleased with myself for talking to a random girl even though it was stupid. My friend Justin approached a 7.5 who was working at some kind of kiosk selling turtles. He didn't really do much just asked about the turtles. Next I apporached a cute little asian chick working there. Me any my two friends were walking by her and I made up my mind that I was going to do one more approach before we left. I really didn't get AA until I was about three seconds into the opener. Then I wanted to gtfo of there, so I probably dicked it up with bad body language and nonverbals, but the point was just to do the opener. I used Mystery's Herman opener.

Ethan:
Hey, would you date a guy named Herman?
HB7:
What?
Ethan:
Would you date a guy named Herman?
HB7:
I don't know...(in broken English)
Ethan:
(I pointed at my friend standing next to me.) Because his name is Herman and he can't get a girlfriend and we think it might be his name.
HB7:
Oh.
Friend:
Yeah we think that might be the problem.
HB7:
Oh okay. (starts to walk away.)

We got a good laugh out of it and again I was proud of myself. Then my other friend Matt hadn't approached all night, and was feeling pretty bad, so he finally broke down and went after an 8.5. He walked up to her and said:

Matt:
Excuse me miss.
HB8.5: ...no.

Then she walks away. He was pretty devastated, but we cheered him on for trying. After all thats all we were doing tonight. Just overcoming approach anxiety. Tomorrow (or the next time we go out, probably Friday) we will try to get rejected. We will use the cheesiest and most offensive openers, and try to get slapped. Once we do that, we should be able to approach without much fear. Then we can start to work on getting number closes.

I'll be making a journal on here so you can follow our progress. Our goal is to be PUAs by the end of the summer, and I believe that goal is within reach.

heyy nice work- the dedication is defiantly there. keep going with the approaches and making an ass of yourself in front of anyone. "hi I'm Marty the martin, whats your favourite flavour of blowing ball?" is a good one hah.

once you get more comfortable with that, really work on a routine. it seems like you guys were scared approaching almost because you don't know what to say. every time you go out, have one or two new negs and openers. learn routines to DHV, and make yourselves the interesting ones and if shes not into it, than shes the boring one so fuck it. "you're" the prize, remember. live in that mentality and remember/ believe it in every approach

Yeah I actually thought about using that one lol. But today we went to Kings Island and had our pick of HBs to piss off. We ran around doing the stupidist shit, like the "hey, you dropped your pocket!"bullshit. It was a great time. I've gotten at least somewhat comfortable walking up to a girl now. I think tomorrow I'll do a few stupid approaches, and then try my luck at actually running some game.
