last weekend was the beginning of my "great comeback" to the game.

i hit the mall early saturday to pick up a quick outfit for later on that night and ended up leaving with a new fit and a couple #-closes. the only thing is that instead of the # i've been getting email address :/. i'm not sure if it's a cancellation but "so what's your myspace" line works like magic! check this out.

* i walk into the first store and casually browse through some random tees while the hb8 says "hi, can i help you with anything?" i keep looking through the shirts and "nah, i'm good" without looking up at her. then head over to another isle.

when i get to the other isle i ask her if she has the shirt i'm actually looking for and she says "yeah". when she shows it's to me i realize that it's the wrong tee and say "that's not it" with a wtf kinda look of my face. inside i'm laffing my ass off. she quickly apologizes then tries to show other gear. i let her but as we're pacing the store i'm constantly neg everything she picks out. so she ask me "then what do u wear?" i tell her what kinda jeans, tee, and kicks i'm wearing a say "but i shop in melrose, you wouldn't know about these brands." she instantly gets starts showing ioi's...

hb: "so your from l.a?"

me" yea"... i pick up a pair of jeans then ask her friend how much they cost.

hb: "so what are you doin out here"

me: ... i walk away start talking to her friend * hb8.5 who's email i got.

when i got to the resigter i told hb8 to dump the jeans and to bring me that shirt she'd showed me earlier. while she did that hb8.5 started asking me about l.a. and random blah blah blah.... i closed this one with my myspace line *she laughed when i asked because it caught her off guard, when she thought i was gonna ask for the number... i guess* every hb i'd tried this on afterwards had the same reaction.

i act as if i don't know how to use myspace and give them my blackberry and which is conviencetly already at myspace's website then have them enter thier email address. it goes directly to their page and i save they emails.

from that point you can talk about her page or anything you'd like... be creative. since hb8.5 is also a sneakerhead like myself i told her i'd email her a list of some exclusive shops in l.a. *this also sets you up to see her again if you happen to be n the same location. i told her i'd show her and friends around... she was totally with it.

i did the same exact routine in another store and got the same reaction from hb8. she even gave me a discount then told her boss to hire me *i'm i told her i'm looking for a part-time job - which i am.

*things i noticed

- when i walked with my chest out with that "i know i'm the shit" strut more hb's give me attention
... as soon as i got out my truck in the parking lot until i left hb's were checking me out.

- act as if your not fully interested and you DLV her... lol
then comeback with some random story... make sure it's exciting or something out of the norm *since i'm i travel a lot i like telling hb's they remind me of some party girl i saw in another country then blah blah blah.

well that my field report for now. i also pulled another hb9 at the same mall 2 days ago by closing with my "myspace close" then negged her because she didn't know how to use my phone.

The conventional wisdom is that an email close is not a real close, and that you will get almost 100% flakes from an email close.

Your close is even less solid than an email close because they aren't even intentionally giving you their email. They're only showing you their myspace and you take their email without them even knowing.

I'm not trying to hate. In fact, please write back and tell us if you Day 2 or f-close any of these girls. My inclination is that girls who would not give you their number would still show you their myspace. I would bet you'll get Day 2s with less than 10% of these girls.

Your game might be tight, but you're going to have to start n-closing to get results.

I would also like to hear what kind of percentages you get day 2's and f-closes out of this strategy.

I've always shot for the #close... and on my online sarging I progress it from Myspace->IM->Phone->In Person.

I like the handing them your phone tech. Thats what I use 90%+ of the time on number closes... no asking just "Hey, put your number in my phone" as I hand it to them.
