Hey all,
Haven't been on in a looooonnngggg time (work commitments etc) but something happened to me last night which was so surreal that I thought of this site straight away!
Ok, so last night we had a managers night out at a bar and at one stage around 5 of us went outside (some to smoke, some for fresh air). Anyway, I'm standing there talking to some of the other managers when a couple are about to walk past me. As they were about to pass me the woman stumbles a little bit and nearly stumbles into me, I say to her "Wow, you've just met me and you're falling for me already". She then explains (in a foreign sounding accent) that she didn't quite understand what I just said to her, So I begin to explain the whole joke to her about her stumbling and me saying that she was falling for me etc... heres the thing...
As I'm explaining this to her, I am looking straight into her eyes... she is staring straight back.. her boyfriend is politely tugging on her arm and is telling her not to worry about it.. she doesn't hear him, I swear to you she is transfixed on my voice and my eyes... I smile.. she starts smiling... I finshing explaining my joke and am now silent just looking at her.. her boyfriend again is tugging her arm, she ignores him again.. finally my boss actually breaks it up by virtually (gently), pushing her in the direction of her boyfriend. I just look at my boss (as he's giving me the 'wtf' look) and just smile and carry on talking to the other managers.
Now, I've never been a hypnotist or indeed even know what it involves to get started but I swear to you, this girl was 100% transfixed on me and I wanted to know if anyone has ever had something so weird happen to them?!
Still smiling about it now!
