I wrote this little piece for a success story competition.

It was a regular Friday night. I met with my two regular friends, "Womanizer" and "koga". We hung around. It was nice, but a bit banal, not what you imagine when you think what three students at MAPI would do. Koga suggested we go to a birthday party of one of his friends.
We got a party at the beach, there were many people I know, many people I do not like, and I was getting ready for another boring night. I looked around me and suddenly I saw a familiar girl.
Four months before the course, six months after graduation, Womanizer invited me to the screening of a film student he acted in. Before the screening he showed me on Facebook the girls who were with him in production, one of which seemed cute. Like any regular AFC, I immediately planned the seduction operation, how to introduce myself at the screening, she will fall in my arms and together we'll buy a cottage in the mountains and rise our three children. While I was busy with these dreams, I saw her. Finally a girl to my likings! And like any AFC, I got so nervous that all I could do when we met was to blurt something and run away.
So she was there, talking to someone. Finally, a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, seduce her (or at least talk to her a bit) and prove to myself I made some progress since that course. Four and a half rooms and three children returned to the scene.
Fortunately, Womanizer came to my aid, and we approached them. To my surprise, the conversation went quite good, gradually transitioning to me having a conversation with her!
She gave me a lot of smiles, bites, even some light Kino. I surprised even myself, and most importantly, it was fun.
So I talked to her, about school, about the party. Five minutes, ten minutes, half an hour. What do we do now? Take her number!. I preferred at that stage to ignore this thought, it was not hard, it was clear that she didn't not want me, she just spoke to me now forty-five minutes. Luckily koga appeared, luckily as otherwise I wouldn't have had a story to write today. He said only two words: "close number." I knew it was now or never. I took her to the side, took out the phone, she smiled, I brought some excuse, and .... She wrote it down!
I was surprised, and maybe she saw it, but it did not matter. She gave me a goodbye hug, told me when to call, and left.
So far it sounds like the perfect story, but life goes on, probably the secret of fairy-tales is to know where to end the story. I called her twice. First time, her friend answered, said she'll give her the message. There wasn't an answer the second time.
This was my first NC, a month after the course. There were a few interesting experiences after that, but I know I'm just getting started, and that with practice and perseverance I will reach new heights.
