I'm still not at the point where I can confidently approach girls but I've been going through possible scenarios each time I come across potential pick up situation. rejection would demotivate me, so for now I'm trying to use every opportunity to talk to girls naturally.

Here is how my day went. I had to use public transportation today, which I rarely do, so I was standing on a subway platform and noticed a girl on the other side, across the tracks. she was reading something, completely oblivious of my existence. as her train approached she stood up and I glanced at me, then looked down, then few seconds later glanced again... she boarded the train and I glanced again through the window as the train was leaving. It just made me feel good.

Now I boarded the train and sat down. at the next stop this girl walked in and sat right next to me even though there were other empty seats available. I had a hunch that she wouldn't mind being approached but I just couldn't come up with anything fast so I let this opportunity pass by.

I figured day game is probably the hardest, why not try some night game.
So tonight I met with friends at Buffalo Wild Wings and started talking to a host. She lead us to our table and I jokingly asked her if any girls walk in to seat them next to our table. we joked about it a little bit and she promised she will. unfortunately no girls walked in

Next one was our waitress. We had a drink and some wings and we were planing to go to the movie theater afterward. We were done pretty quick because we had to make it to the movie, so as we paid our tab and stood up, I joked with her something like "we were just quick in and out", that opened her up I figured so I explained that we were going to the movie theater and then I asked if she things that 4 guys going to the movies together is gay! she laughed and said "no, not really" and then she started asking what we were gonna watch and stuff... The point is, she was ready to talk, she wanted more and that definitely gave me a little boost of self confidence, girls actually wanna talk! My friends were already walking out so I had no time to try to continue conversation and I was not really interested in her anyways, I just wanted to practice. We had eye contact, her body language was playful. I liked it.

My friends told me later jokingly that I can talk a lot, I guess they have noticed the difference because I wasn't like that before I just told them that I try to talk to every girl I get a chance to talk to.

It's not only about girls actually, while I was waiting for my friends in front, I got into a conversation with a guy who asked for a lighter.

I know, from PUA point of view this is probably nothing, but for me it's a huge step forward in overcoming my social awkwardness.
