I am new to the forums. Thought I would share a field story. Hopefully someone can learn from it including myself.

Went to a baseball game. My friend and I arrived early so we decided to hit up the bar and save ourselves a few bucks. Beer at the stadium is expensive!!

My friend I start drinking and notice a 2 set walk in; HB9 and HB6. I start looking for the eye from the HB9 and catch it! However, I broke the 3 second rule big time. Some AFC's start talking to them and get shut down. They then move in to spot directly next to us at the bar. I am ready to make my move.

I listen in on their conversation looking for an opening. I overhear they are talking about Hangover remedies. I lean over to the HB9 and ask her if they were talking about hangover remedies to which she replied yes. I suggested drinking tons of water before going to sleep. Immediately after that, the HB6 angrily proclaims she has to go to the bathroom. They both leave.

Lessons learned:
1) 3 Second Rule is a must.

2) Talk to the obstacle first!! I could tell she was pissed of that 2-3 guys tried talking to her friend and not her ugly ass!!

Any advice for situations like this?
Should I have negged her first?
Was my opener to lame?

Thanks guys!
