| First things first, I am not that experienced, no expert so be kind! but I would say I am a pretty fun guy when I'm on form and not bad looking.
So I approach an Australian girl smoooooking (HB9) in London while I was in a hostel, just sat down next to her and starting talking about everything, flirting a little negging her about Australia (I am English but lived in Australia in one year so I had some material!)
Then she is like do you wanna go to the bar (we were outside eating originally). So we head there, and we are drinking a chatting for a little bit then this Australian guy gets into the conversation, she is staying really close to me giving me a few signals, but this Aussie guy is kinda getting in the way of stuff, and we were talking about going out on the town before this, and he kind of half invites himself / us inviting him along because we are too kind!!! He is a fun guy, but he is like 40, (we are both 23 and 21) and is a little bit creepy but funny lol. So we go and get ready, I met her in the lobby of the hostel, im there before Australian guy and she comes and sits next to me, kinda rubs up against me and says how different I look (I just changed from my gym clothes to my going out clothes!). So I thought this could end up pretty well. We have an awesome night out I'm dancing loads with her, but Aussie girl is kinda hanging round us, and if I try and get rid of him, she is worried about him. I had a GREAT night talking to some other girls too and dancing for hours, but he kind of followed up and we all went back together and she just dissapeared for the night.
Now, I guess she could have been using him to protect herself from me! Because she didnt like me THAT much and didnt want to have to turn me down if I made a move when we were alone, but I just think some of her flirting was pretty strong and I thought we had something, but I just couldnt shake off this Aussie old guy lol.
3 really is an awkward number sometimes, two guys one girl, and the other guy wasnt giving us any space, just hanging around us all the damn time! He was following her round like a dog, but I was getting all the dancing and all the real attention with her. Any tips how you could have played it differently? Anyone experienced anything similar? I guess in hindsight I should have just went for the kiss when we were dancing pretty close, or at least given her a good hint, but I'm kind of shy still sometimes. After all that was her last night in the area and I had nothing to lose.
