Even though I've had a rough two weeks, the growing pains are paying off and I see it.

Alright... so my wingman, ImperialHedron, and I went to a cafe last night. He is new to the PUA community, so I've been compelled to be his coach. We get there and its a two story cafe, pretty classy. We go upstairs because its quaint and compact.

I HATE busy places.

We get to the top of the stairwell and I IMMEDIATELY get psyched. I asked him why we are here and what our intent is. He said 'to meet women of course, why?' I told him we are not here to sit in a corner and be alone. We need an advantage. I told him about one of the stories I read here... damn I wish I had the link to the PUA who posted it.

He and his friend went around and hugged everyone at a house party he went to.

I'm not that comfortable to hug everyone yet, but I told him 'we are going to go and meet every single person here, men and women alike.' He was like, 'uh, why?'

"Social Value.... and it will eliminate all Approach Anxiety... Ready?"

I didnt even wait for his answer, I popped my head around the corner and there is an HB9 sitting there. DAMN i cant remember her name right now. She gave me the 'come save me look.' she was sitting with a guy she wasnt really into and I had OUTRAGEOUS confidence last night. I knew by her smile I was gona have a great night.

We met her and her friend, then we moved on to a tiny Hispanic HB7 sitting alone and smiling at our conversation. I told her that I wasnt gona pass her up because she looked like she was here to have fun.

We then met two philosphy students, one from Chicago and the other was from town. Up the stairs comes two HB6's... One was wearing a sling so I asked her i could sign it. Who signs a sling you ask? a PUA does. we do shit people dont do. I asked her how she fell and tried to neg her for being a bad ballerina. Turns out she fell during ballet class and she cant dance. I kinda felt bad and negged her again because theres nothing wrong with her legs. Turns out those two HBs were philosphy majors too, so we hooked the two duded up with the two chicks.

Circling the room, we met an HB5 nurse in training.. she was super quiet and nervous, so we let her study.

I CAME TO A SCREACHING HAULT!

HB9 and HB7.5
HB 9 was a psychologist. Not a major, not a student, the real deal. Guys... this is one of the most important statements I make today. DO NOT run routines on a psychologist. She was on to me the entire time. I couldn't break her mind. Admiringly she was a challenge I was just not ready for. I wasted too much time trying to break her, she broke me.
she asked me what we were doing and I told her that we were here to meet everyone. She asked me why I needed everyones approval.
she asked me why i was sweating because she wasnt hot. I sweat all the time, I walked in sweaty and I was squatting trying to talk to her. there was no room to sit. Guys, it was a mess. She asked me why I really was speaking to her and I told her that I was looking to meet fun people and possibly a friendly woman. She wouldnt tell me about the country she was from. She wouldnt tell me about her. I was her patient and I didnt like it. I asked her if she was nervous because she was treating me this way, rather than talking. She said she was just being herself. We walked away at that point. Just be honest with a psychologist.

My approach anxiety was completely gone by the 3rd set of people we met. Even after being grilled by the psych-lady, it didnt bother me. We were kings of that place.

the women next to them on the other hand were cool as shit! I ended up pulling both of thier phone numbers. They were the coolest women I met in an EXTREMELY long time.

Then we met 3 guys who were watching us. 'So hows your social experiment going.' I could tell they were AFC's and wanted to join us. One was a closet alpha male who doesnt understand his potential as a PUA, so I gave them pointers and coached them for about 30 minutes. Turns out they are in the same industry as my Wing and I. They even told me I should be a coach. They watched me pull 2 numbers. I told them that the next time they see me, I charge by the hour. They laughed, but I was serious.

We went downstairs and met two women that were eyeing us the whole time. The were HB8 and 9. HB9 was GORGEOUS and I'm sure if she wasnt in her workout clothes, she'd be a 10. Yea... a nine...in workout clothes.... They were polite and very disinterested. I didnt care.

We met the smartest guy there who was getting a degree in folding space and time.... no joke... and he was humble and cool as shit.

Lastly, I met a woman that from the side looked like my ex-girlfirned... cept she wasnt a 9, she was a 5. grah. Her friend was a 6.5 that my wing was eyeing. he loves asians. they were pretty cool too. so out of the 14 women that we met, 2 turned us down. and yet we got 2 double hang-out-dates with 4 of those women.

The most important thing to note of the evenings events is that the first woman I wanted to meet, I kept talking to her as I would pass... to neg her like I wasnt gona give her time. I wanted to save the best for last. There were other guys hitting on her, yet she was still smiling at me.

I dont know how it happened, but I went to go see her finally, she was gone. I was so upset. she was so beautiful. I wasnt afraid of meeting this woman. I just took too damned long. I thought making her wait would increase my social value. I think it did to a degree.

Moral of todays lesson... when you see that look, dont wait so long!
