| Ok so I've only recently finished reading 'The Game' and was blown away by it. Not long ago I discovered this forum and have already picked up some good stuff so this weekend I thought it was time to put some of it into action.
I've told a few mates about the community and some of the openers, ESP tricks etc then I filled them on some of the stuff I would be saying so they could wing for me.
Day 1: So Friday night, I meet up with my mate who is a 'natural', I think this made it a little easier having him wing for me though maybe that means I was wing for him since he is the natural lol. I arrive at the first bar where my mate is already waiting for me, he is talking to 2 girls already and their gay friend. Both girls really arent too good but it was still a good way to start the night. No routines or anything really needed here and I ended up with a number. When we were leaving they asked us to go smoke weed with them but we bailed on that, as I said they were not too good looking and the night was still young!
So, next to the 2nd bar. We start off with a drink and I tell my mate I'm gonna open and what to expect. I walk up to a 2-set and start with the 'Ex-girlfriend' opener I'd read about Style using. Started with the whole 'do you think its wrong his new girlfriend is upset about him being friends with the ex' blah blah blah. Then I mentioned about the 'burning of photos' HB6 says thats psyco straight away while HB5 says no wait a sec it depends. At this stage my wing comes in and throws his comment in, we start discussing it and I was honestly shocked to my core at how easy the girls were disarmed. This was the first time I'd seen an opener in real life.
Just before the conversation drifted onto small talk my wing left me to go to the bathroom, the girls turned to each other and I didnt know how to react so I thanked them and bailed. Probably a lack of experience there.
Same bar, this time I see another 2-set. After a short talk with my wing about the previous set we have a clearer picture on the 'ex girlfriend' line. So, I approach these 2 girls who looked Spanish. I use the line and my wing comes in on queue. We comment on their accent and it turns out their from Puru. This is perfect because I went to south america last year and my wing had also been there about 6 months ago so we had some common ground.
We moved onto another bar and took the Latina's with us. I was talking to HB4 while my wing was with HB6 whose name was 'Cinnamon', sounded like a porn star name. Anyways we both agreed that we needed to ditch these girls so my wing got a number from HB6 and I faked being too drunk telling the girls we had to leave (I've had a lot of experience being too drunk so I did a good job acting =D)
Next we moved onto another bar and were trying to find somewhere to sit. On the end of a large long table was a 4-set with 2 guys and 2 girls in the middle, we sit near them and my wing starts talking to HB7 while I distract one of the guys. HB9 is looking extremely drunk at this stage. My wing starts to talk to her and then HB7 says they have to leave, though the guys are sticking around. As HB7 is behind me I turn to talk to her, then see her rolling her eyes. As I turn back my wing is k-closing the drunk but hotter girl. He is a natural I guess lol. So I start talking to HB7, she sits down and this leave the 2 dudes sitting there. I almost felt bad. The girls bailed and shortly after I left my wing who continued to talk to the guys. At the end of the night they even gave him a lift home lmao!
Day 2: So I tell my flat mate about our night, he has read a little bit of 'The Game' and knows what to expect. I convince him to come to a bar last night. We sit down, the place is packed and quite small. We get a few drinks and just kick back a bit not really trying to run game at all. A few girls come past our table and sit near us so we strike up a few casual conversation, blah blah blah.
Anyway, I see a 2 set sitting behind us and earlier the HB4 had asked us who had won the election (Australia) we didn't know and she went back to her friend (HB6) Then I decide to have a crack so I tell my wing about the ex-girlfriend opener and when to come over. We also notice there is a guy trying to tune HB7 but ignoring the friend. So I sit next to HB4 and the line goes off fine, my wing comes in at the right time but the guy starts trying to tear holes in our story like "dont most people use digital cameras and dont have photo's lying around" I came back with they were from a disposable camera so were developed. Anyway we move into some small talk and while trying some C&F on HB4 I some how offended her and she palmed me off lol. No big lose, was just a warm up for the night so we moved on.
Inside the bar we see lots of 2 and 3 sets so at this stage its just a matter of picking the best target. We see a good 2-set with HB7 and HB6, sitting away from the main crowd. Looks good and they weren't too deeply in conversation. This time I decide I wanna try out some ESP and The Cube so I open with the same line I have been using, my wing comes in at the right time. Then we move into small talk and I notice an awkward silence so I turn to HB6 -
Me: I can read minds.
HB6: *looks at me weird* sure you can
Me: No really but you have to help me out with it a bit. Picture a number between 1-5
HB6: Ok, I've got it
Me: Ok think about it really hard, is it 3
HB6: No it was 4
Me: You have to at least try to help me!!, I can't do it by myself... Help me help you!
HB6: Well I really wanted to say 3 but I said 4 isn't that funny!
Me: Ok maybe we can try again, this time pick a number between 1-10
HB6: Ok
Me: Are you thinking really hard about it?! Ok is it 7
HB6: No, 6
Me: Well this obviously isn't going to work because your not trying hard enough
At this stage HB7 is listening and she's like "oh oh do it to me" then I tell her hey I'm not a party trick you can just bust out when ever you want. Then I launch into the cube with HB6 (I was poorly positioned to do this with HB7) HB6 closes her eyes and I go through the whole thing then tell them what it means. HB7 is going crazy, every time I say something about HB6 she's like "omg yes that's true" Once I'm finished HB7 says "wow, do you do this for a job" inside I'm laughing my arse off. We talk for a while and I'm starting to get vibes from HB6 like she doesn't want us there.
Anyway my wing bails and I end up number closing HB7 and then HB6 then say that I'm leaving. As I get outside I run into HB7 again and she has a big smile for me and asks me to do the cube on her. I give it a go outside but as we get into it some other guys are sitting near my table, HB6 comes over also and they tell these guys I'm going to "read her mind" but then she seemed too self conscious and HB6 says maybe another time. I take it as my queue to leave and went home.
I'm sure through out the weekend I could have done a few things differently but I was just so pumped to walk away from a weekend with 3 number and actually going up to a whole heap of girls without being nervous about what to say.
Any tips would be good, sorry the post is so long!!!
