Hey this is my first topic on these forums I'm typing it on my phone so it might have some errors.

I'm a 19 year old good looking guy who is extremely shy. Most of the girls I've gottEn were drunk and approaches me or I have met them online.

Anyway since my cars broken down I decided to take a 2 hour ride down to belmar beach nj with my mom. Most of the day I slept and tanned but when I walked around I would look at girls in the eye and hold contact. They would always look away and then look back a second later and hold the contact but I wouldn't say / do anything just keep staring.

Later in the day around 5 I said to mysElf I need to go get somthing to eat and find some girls to sit with. I bought a slice walked out looked for good looking sets of girls and saw a girl sitting by herself. I could only see her back and went for it. I said something like hey can I sit here and then I sat down and said what's up.

She was on her dinner break from working at thE ice cream store. She wasn't dressed up at all so shE was about a hb7 but would be 8+ if she was wearing makeup ect. She was also from Ukraine with a thick accent and 22 years old.

The whole conversation mostly contained long silent moments where we kind of just eat our food. She would re initiate the convo a lot and asked me things like what is my name and what do I study, who am I here with ect. She studies tourism and I asked her what she like about it and she stared at me for like 5 seconds and said "what do I like about toys ?!". A lot of the conversation was awkward like this hahaha. I mostly asked her questions and hardly talked about myself.

I left my phone in my bag at the beach so I asked Something like wanna take my number down and if I'm here again well eat. She said hold on I need to get my phone wait here. I waited and shE came back and put in my number and called it. I gave her a hug and left.

Even though I wasn't planning to much to call her because this beach is hours away and I hardly go I didn't recieve a phone call. I saw her call the number so I'm pretty sure she didn't let it ring long enough. I don't think she did this on purpose bEcause why would she go out of her way to get her phone.

Anyway I felt so happy after doing the approach. Even though it was pretty awkward I wasn't nervous at all during the long silences and acted like it was no big deal and she would usually start up the convo again. A lot of the Tim I couldn't understand her accenT and she had to repeat herself.

I'll take the approach as a success even though I didn't get the number. Sorry if this post was hard to read. I hate typing on a touch screen phone so I was pretty lazy
