Just wanted to recount a recent experience in the field for the benefit of the community. I was at a concert with my dad of all people recently. Needless to say, I was not planning on picking up chicks I was just out to have a good time. It was a blues concert and I was dressed in a pinch cap a pair of ratty jeans and a "Big Lebowski," shirt that had a picture of "the dude," on it with "Abide," below it. This getup led to some inadvertent peacocking which turned out to be totally congruent. Throughout the day people would come up to me and say "the dude abides!" It became very easy to open mixed sets. One HB 9 is actually moving closer and closer to me just to see if she can get my attention. The only problem was that I was out with my pop and was enjoying his company and I did not really want to be gaming.

So...The main act is about to go on, Eric Burdon and the Animals, and I spot the HB 9 who just so happens to have chosen a spot about 5 feet away from me to watch the concert. I figure I might as well play with her a bit for fun so I open a couple next to me that I hear chatting about "Food Inc." We talk for a bit and I am getting the impression that her man is really her gay friend. I start throwing some negs and such and we begin to flirt lightly. I look over at HB 9 and she is staring right at me. I look away from her eyes and continue talking to the couple like what they are saying is the most interesting thing in the world. I turn back to HB 9 and she is still overtly staring at me. So...I turn to my dad and his GF and start chatting them up. Then I walk over to an old hippie and start chatting him up. I am not trying to pick up HB 9 at this point I am just enjoying watching her squirm as I talk to EVERYONE but her.

She even goes so far as to brush past me on the way to wherever she is going, full tit on back contact and then a hand on my arm and a "sorry," as she smiles at me. Then it starts to rain and we have to clear out. Bummer. It was fun to be the one making her uncomfortable for a change though.
