| Hey guys, Lumen here. As you've probably read from the title, I'm not sure if this counts as an FR, but I thought it would be a good idea to put it in anyway!
I went into town on Saturday with one of my female friends, just to hang around. I had no intention of gaming her (I asked her out once 4 years ago, she used some excuse about a breakup and we've been friends since). I originally had a really bad case of oneitis with her but after a while, I got over it.
Anyway! I met her after my Jiu Jitsu class and we promptly got food and headed to the park. Now, just a little side-note on our relationship, as friends we are close, but before now there's never been any sexual tension. We held hands once when we were both drunk and that was about it! (pathetic, I know) I decided to use the four questions personality game on her, to practice and got an interesting response. Apart from her answers which were nothing out of the ordinary, she started to focus on me a lot more and began to hang on my words. Since I got such a good reaction I decided to continue onto the cube and at this stage she is wide-mouthed in amazement. She starts to try and get me to do more but I tell her its her turn to entertain me!
After a while I do a bit of qualifying (Can you cook? good, we're married) and she is delighted with this. I even introduced an extra bit which maybe some guys should think about adding to the marriage qualifier routine. I created a system of points where if she did something that made me happy she got points which would build up and eventually she would get a reward. If she did something I didn't like then she lost points. It was extremely effective! She was even listing things she could do to please me! At this stage we're holding hands, playing with each others fingers and lying down beside each other and she even asked me what I answered for the horse in the cube(ideal lover). She got rid of some of her friends who had come along randomly and when I gave her my honest opinion about her hair(It's red but I prefer her as a brunette she got really upset even though everyone else talks about how much they like her hair). She even set up a day 2 for the next day!
At this stage I should've gone for the K-close but alas AFC habits die hard. Unfortunately she flaked on me for the day 2 and I think the momentum I built up will have been lost by the time I see her again!
Moral of the story: Don't underestimate the cube and four questions game, never be a pussy and shy away from taking a chance and finally no matter how much you think you've screwed up and pushed yourself into the friend-zone there's always hope!
