So, I'm going to keep this short, I won't detail the whole night
I really just want to focus on one thing that I've been working on: eye contact.
Wow, it's ridiculously powerful. My body language has been a focus for about a month now. And with that eye contact. I've been getting really nice, non-verbal responses from girls on the street, but tonight I saw what it could do as a way of opening girls.
I was at a place in the East Village and I kept grabbing this girl's stare. I did this for about 15 minutes, on and off. I would hold it long enough for her to look away, etc. I was gettign drinks from the bar, chatted up the guy coordinating the event. Finally, I'm sitting down and just hold her eyes as long as I can (I admit, I had AA), until she finally leans all the way over her table, towards me, and says, "Hey, what's your name?" Shit. Game on. So, being opened I usually have an easier time. I chatted her up, did some really surprisingly well executed DHV stories and social stuff. She offers me her number so we can meet up later.
We leave a little while later an sarge a bit around town. I'm using a British accent, telling girls I'm from Southwerk. Freakin' British accents work like a charm! You can open a girl just by asking directions and suddenly they want to know your life story, lol!
I had to head home earlier than expected, so I never txted the girl from earlier. I'm thinking of txting her tomorrow night, or Wed, just to be like, "Hey, I'm headed over here with some friends, you should join." Not sure if it's a good idea, but what the hell, it's worth a shot.
Anyway, I still have a LOT of difficulty opening girls, and often hide behind things like accents, false personalities, or even alcohol to get me there. But girls seem to be comfortable opening me, and at least # closing me all on their own, so I guess I'm doing SOMETHING right. THe guys I was with were telling me the girl's state was such that I should have K-closed! Wtf is wrong with me?
So, to recap, I'm doing the BL thing right in that girls can open and close me, but despite this (what should be the ultimate confidence boost), I'm having incredible difficulty opening girls at will. I do it sometimes, but not with consistency. Now that I have my BL down, I think this is the next part of my game to work on. Any thoughts are appreciated.
