I am quite proud of myself.

I walked into a small coffee style sandwich place. There was no line and only once person finishing up eating.

The cashier was HB8 tall blond. I put my game smile on made eye contact, looked around and asked what she recommended. I ordered something else. She asked me how my day was. I started by saying "good" though to myself thats an AFC answer. and said "well actually I had to stand in line at the police station for two hours to get my record checked. So that I can work as a camp counselor."

She asked how long I would be doing that all summer. The conversation moved to some of her volunteer work, to softball and so on. I moved into a locking position kinda, I took a seat at and angel so that I could keep talking to her while waiting for her to finish my sandwich. We talked about school, and what not. Conversation moved to her saying she played solfball. She asked if I did. I said " no I've played baseball my whole life but a bunch of my girlfriend did." (preselection)

She went back to work while I ate.

I went back up after finishing and asked for her number. I made clear eye contact acted confident. Despite my line not being amazing I was confident and think thats why she gave me her number.

I will be calling her on sunday or monday. The conversation will be as fun as I can make it and not with the center around setting a meeting but getting to know each other a bit better. I will try and set up a meet up. I want to set something up low pressure, clear that I'm not looking for a relationship but am ok with a physical relationship to go with my other FWB.
