After a long time I've decided to take up sarging again armed with nlp principles that have really changed my life. My biggest weakness has always been inner game and I've been working hard on it. This is my first report since I've made some tough life decisions
I read somewhere on the forum to never ever say no to a social event. I'm glad I did that! So yesterday was a function that most people didn't want to go to...BUT there was an after party so I said why the heck not. When I got there I checked out the crowd, picked out everyone I already knew and started going to each table, talking to the person I knew and drawing in everyone else there. I kept it going checking out everyone except one table where one of my targets were. HB10 used to having all the attention in the world so why not take it away from her?
I never realised how easy it was to have fun when your intention was to have fun. Every table I went to I had fun talked about whatever was going on in the world and I left each table with a laugh. I built my social proof and took away myself so that they'd want more. All this time I didn't go to the table with the HB10 and I knew she was just waiting for me to get there
Finally on HB10's table I start talking to some of the guys. The world cup helped the conversation along. Got them laughing and walked off again. Glanced over my shoulder and saw HB10's face drop
Fast forward a little to the after party now talking to HB10. She's really undecisive and afraid to take risks. Used a little nodding to help her agree with me and realise that she can have fun by taking risks. Everyting was set up for the kill and I get a call from my dad saying I gotta leave now
So I didn't get to close her but I'll see her again at some point and close her. Until then I'll continue going out to have fun. I'm really really angry I had to leave. It seems something always comes up when I'm about to close or on a good roll and cuts it! Geeze but hey I think I've accepted that women are people and shouldn't be put on a pedestal. Once you realise they feel and think like you do pickup isn't as hard. It's just going out and having fun!
