Allright, another one of my moderately interesting field reports.
I will try to make a point of this story.
I was out drinking. My regular pivot wasnt in town so I had to settle for another. She sucked btw. Got all jealous and crap when I got a close.
Anyways, we were out for Karaoke and thats normally just great fun. This time, my voice sucked pretty bad in the beginning so I settled for drinking beer. Not thinking that I would sarge at all. I was actually thinking that if worst comes to worst I can just go for my pivot.
I got another song to sing and at this time the room started to get crowded. I just thought, ok what the hell, all out! (Wind of change with the Scorpions.) So I did a great performance. After a while a girl comes up to me and starts eyeing me, while Im singing, I was wearing shades so I could get a good look.
I walk up to her, shes like 2 meters away and starts singing together with her. She is a bit shy and blushes, I go back and some guy try the same thing, I let him sing two words and take the stage again. I finish the song and go for the bar. A lot of people high five me for a great performance and Im like, yeah, thatnks man, cool, Im going for a beer.
I notice the girl, shes with some kinda guy. Im not sure if it was her BF or not but he was into her. I return to my pals and as the evening progresses my pivot starts singing a song. Im alone.
5 seconds later the girl I was singing with appears, she sits down and says hello. Legs spread wide across the backless couch.
HB8: Hey, Its my birthday do you wanna buy me a beer.
Ezo: Happy birthday!!! Eeeer... No. You know that was terribly played, it probably works on some of the other losers but you are forgetting something... This is me.
HB8: Leans over to give me a kiss on the cheek.
Ezo: Come on, that sucks.
I grab her by the neckhair (like the evolution phase shift guys) and bring her closer.
Kiss close.
My pivot comes back and starts complaining that everybody gets something apart from her. I go closer to her and tell her, hey this was just entertainment, shes not important.
I suddenly realize that the girl didnt just tell me it was her birthday but her eighteenth birthday. (Yes where I come from the legal drinking age is 18 and the legal fucking age is three years before that.)
I call the girl closer but wiggling my finger. I lean closer and closer to her and wisper in her ear... Sorry, no. Not tonight.
So what did I want to tell you with this post. I normally have a point.
The point being, the girl approached me. She tried golddigging, tried playing me like the other guys. Didnt work. She was still ready for the kiss, which means, she was attracted. She stayed even when I started talking to my pivot. Which means that she wasnt really just after the drink at all, she was after something else.
So what got her attracted? I didnt open her, she opened me. Well, I took the stage, I gave an outstanding performance. A guy came up and tried to AMOG me, I hardly noticed. I lead the guys in the room, I got them to backup-sing in the refrain.
And I didnt flinch or show any kind of nervousness about being on stage. I was the freakin rockstar!
Am I a great singer? No.
Does that matter? No.
Another thing I understood was, If you bring a girl as wingman, make sure she understands exactly what it is all about. Otherwise she will definately fuck up your game.
Or in this case save me, that girl was waaaaay too young for me.
