Hey guys, this is my first FR, hopefully the first of many. ^_^ This report is being typed out some time after the actual events that transpired, so it's probably not as accurate as future installments. This particular night was solo, and without no planning (zero material, I had forgotten about the game and was running on natural game). In the future I may have a suitable wing, else it'll be more solo. With that said.. on to the report.
Bar#1: This was what seemed to be a popular bar, the place was packed (and reasonably so because it was St. Patties). I went inside, did a lap of the place to get a look to assess, then found a spot at the bar to squeeze in and get my drink. Befriended the male bartender and tried to avoid starting at the HB10 bartender, the temptation to open her was there but between my inexperience, crippling shyness, and the fact that she'd likely flirt with me only for tips were enough to deter me. The music and the SPAM in general were killing my mood and enthusiasm so I was quick to move on to another bar.
Bar#2: This was an irish bar, the whole reason I went. I've got irish in me, I love the irish music, I love the irish SPAM. When I got there, the only thing that was irish was the green. (Huge bummer, I still don't understand why an irish pub wouldn't play ANY irish music on st patties day, omg). In any case, again I do a lap to assess then get myself a drink.
HBx3 : I notice a three set near me fumbling with a camera and looking around them. Realizing they need a photographer I volunteer, being playful and getting them set for a pose. After taking a few I hand the camera to one of them then squeeze between the other two saying something to the effect of "Alright my turn girls" and getting a few pictures with them. I retire from them briefly to get my drink, and in the moments it takes they've already vanished.
HBx2 : As I'm passing by the dance floor, because of the crowd it's easier to dance through than to go around. While I'm doing so I find myself in a HB sandwich, so I stay a little while to kino both of them, swap names, etc. I toss in a time constraint and bid them adieu until later (I try to avoid going stale, it plagues me) Later that evening, just before close, I come across the two again and they exclaim "there he is!" and I'm back in the sandwich. A guy nearby gave me a highfive. Soon after they have to get going so we hug and say our farewells. I'm still kicking myself for not at LEAST numberclosing.. I learned my lesson on that one. >_>;
HB8: During one of my laps of the place I lock eyes with a HB (on the opposite side of the bar from the dance floor), share a grin, and make a slow confident approach. Within moments and without a word we're bumping and grinding right in front of the entrance to the bar. Unfortunately not a minute later her apparent bodyguard cockblocks me, gesturing her friend to come with while glaring at me. I shrug and carry on about my business, not experienced enough yet to know how to handle it.
So all in all, for somebody who's trying to learn to stop being antisocial and who was once cripplingly shy, I think it was a very productive night. I look forward to more experience so I can improve and stop making AFC mistakes.
Any recommendations on how I could've improved those sets btw?
