So today, I learned a few stuff about:

DLV. Tried testing how real this stuff is when I had the chance. I was with my Indonesian friend the whole day touring around campus for course hunting. We had a great time. I helped her hunt for her courses and we successfully found one. Along the way she offered to help me with my own stuff. This is one issue I'll focus on later.

So after we finished she invited me for lunch. So I got rid of my ridiculous hesitation issues at this point and agreed. We walked the whole time going around campus. And while walking, we talked. I can't believe I made her laugh like crazy when we talked about stuff! (this felt great... a total solid boost of confidence) Earlier in the day, I shared my interest in PU with her. She responded enthusiastically and gave me tons of helpful stuff. (This much despite being acquaintances for only 5 months, big leap).

She asked a friend to join us for lunch(a half-German cutie with great eyes, smile, and hair). I saw this as a chance to find out if I have game. So I tried some of the stuff, in my own way (no canned stuff, stuck to context and was able to pull off good small talks). I just wanted to find out how much I can keep maintaining a small group. Then I flopped, big time! We started talking about mathematics and I shared my epic failures in the subject! And I saw how much DLV can harm someone! They both gave me negative expressions (why would a guy share his stupidity in some areas?). I tried to regain my composure and switched to another topic. I'm pretty sure it was about apartments and stuff. Still, I got smiles from both of them in the end. I forgot to get HBGerman's number though but she was never a target anyway and I believe I'm going to be seeing more of her in the future.

EPIC FAIL. So here's the worst part of the day. After lunch, my Indonesian friend offered to help me with my own hunt. She made the offer for kind intentions since I helped her out throughout the day. So what did I do? I REFUSED! My hesitant, "gentleman", proud side struck me there! I said, "Hey, there's no need. I'm okay. It's fine, really. I can take care of it :)". So what the fuck was that?! She kept pressing for a little while and then just stopped with a disappointed "Oh, okay then. Thanks for all the help". I'm pretty sure she felt that she's not needed.

Things I learned:
1) Never talk about how bad you are in math, or any subject for that matter unless you can add a punchline in the end! That's solid DLV shit that can really fuck your day up.
2) Never refuse an offer! It's friendly. It's harmless. Makes a woman feel worthless in a way. And to top it off, you lose an opportunity for a deeper bond.
3) Writing this post I learned to not think too much. Let things flow smoothly as much as you can manage.

Any thoughts on what I should try out, analyze, avoid, or do in the future? I'm going to hit the malls and our campus soon for Mystery's beginner's mission.

Comments, violent reactions, and suggestions are welcome (as long as they're well-grounded and constructive)! Thanks!

PS: I need a better nickname. This one's too... Jerky...

You didn't do that bad. but honestly I would not game that indonesian friend. If I read you right, you are 5 momth into knowing her right? Keep her in the friend zone. She already introduced you to some other nice target. Keep it that way.

There are ways to come out of the friendzone, but you need solid game for that and honestly, a girl that helps you after shared your interest in PU is priceless. Just call her up again and do friend stuff with her.

Oh and get it out of your head that you 'epic failed' that you 'dlv'ed. It's only a DLV if you make it sound and believe it's a DLV. Heck I told my girlfriend I'm halk dyslexic when I met her and well... she's still my girl and thinks I'm the smartest guy in the world.

Thanks, TheJ! I kinda realized all that when I woke up the following morning. I guess I didn't do that bad. And I intend to keep them both in the friend zone. They'll make great coaches and consultants! Haha! And they're great companions... I'm looking at the relationship as a constructive one.

HBGerman might give me a clear picture about cross-cultural differences. She can help me modify PU tactics to better suit the Philippine context.

Got any pointers, though, about what to talk about when around girls? I've been reading a lot of stuff online. But they're a bit worn out...

PS: One thing I found out from the events in my last post is that it's completely okay to talk about sex when around women. You'll get giggles at the very least.
