I met a girl a couple years ago; I always thought we'd be great together but never got any signals and so simply maintained a basic friendship. I returned home after traveling a few months ago and sent her a message, and she seemed eager to ski this winter. We skied once and I continued to make plans with her but she was really flaky. I continued gaming her pretty hard if only for practice and believe I did a good job of handling her 'childish' behaviour, and I guess she saw the light last week and asked me to ski with her for the day.

We went for the day and it was an amazing time; I was on top of my game and we had a lot of fun. I realized this girl is not one for physical signals but it was pretty obvious she was hot to trot after all the relationship and compatibility questions she started getting into. We share about 90% of each others values, hobbies, and aspirations - perfect on paper as far as I am concerned.

She's texting all week and asks me to join her for weekend skiing again on wednesday.

Once again we had a great time... She's totally awesome. Problem is, I realized she's not as slim as she was - I couldn't tell earlier as she was always in ski gear - and I realized I'm not physically attracted to her! I'm only into super fit girls: runners, cyclists, yogi's etc.

She wants a LTR and I want her as a friend... Don't think I can be honest about it; that's a hard pill to swallow for her! Anybody else been in this situation? It's really frustrating, I'd happily settle down with a girl like her if she had a hot body!
