Ok this is my first field report so bear with me. Last night I went to a preparty before this club and there were probably 8-10 guys there no girls. About an hour into it an HB10 and a HB7 walk in. Of course every guy automatically goes over to them and I don't. The HB10 starts introducing herself to everyone giving them handshakes and she finally gets to me and gives me the limp wrist handshake while talking to someone else. I throw it away and turn my shoulder to her. I walk up to her HB7 friend and start talking to her. Of course she was a bit nicer. Anyway, after the talk with the HB7, which went well, I moved over and sat at the main table where everyone was drinking including the HB10. I looked at her and she gave me a quick eye contact (first IOI). Then the convo kinda went like this.

Her: I don't think Iv met you yet.

Me: Well thats cause when you did you came off really bad and possibly one of the worst first impressions iv ever seen from a person. (Neg)

Her: Blah blah blah why?

Me: Pulled the handshake routine. (escalating kino)

By then she was completely intrigued and I could tell she wanted more.
I sat back to be as comfortable as possible making her have to come closer to talk to me which she did. She got up and walked over to continue talking to me.

The convo got a little dull from there but I kept negging and pulling away and she kept pulling me back. Within 20 minutes of the convo everyone decided to go to the club and the guy she was with had kinda taken her away because he saw my game I think. Anyone have any advice on how to number close in front of her guy friend without making it obvious?
